Coldplay’s White Shadows will be played on the radio, but there is no official release for the track. I don’t think countries other than Australia will be able to play it seeing as how it will ‘only be in Australia’, indicating that it isn’t a worldwide release. That’s how I’ve percieved it and if I’m wrong, I’m sure someone will tell me. The BBC has been testing a new service called SoundIndex, which lists the top 1,000 artists based on discussions crawled from Bebo, Las.fm, Google Groups,iTunes, MySpace and YouTube. Coldplay have been voted the best festival headliner of 2011, in an online poll conducted by BBC 6 Music.
