Coldplay has added 11 more shows onto its North American tour itinerary, which, as previously reported, gets underway Aug. 2 in Chicago. While the first eight dates will hit clubs and small theaters, the subsequent 11 shows will be held in larger theaters and amphitheaters. The North American shows are scheduled to wrap Sept. 24 in Chicago. Coldplay have added additional dates in London and Manchester after tickets for the 2012 stadium tour sold out after just 90 minutes this morning. The speed at which tickets for the large-capacity venues sold out has prompted the organisers to add another date at the Emirates Stadium in London on June 4th, as well as an additional show in Manchester on June 10th.
