Coldplay's world tour ended in Latin America last night, as they played at the Estadio Universitario, Monterrey, Mexico in the final Viva la Vida concert. Chris Martin dedicated The Hardest Part to his father, and Chris at one point early on in the set had to ask people to move back from the front to prevent people getting hurt in the audience. There was no LeftRightLeftRightLeft CD for the Monterrey crowd but the crowd did sing Cielito Lindo and the band as sat down at the edge of the stage aga

Coldplay's Viva La Vida stadium tour passed through the Netherlands last night as they played at Goffertpark in Nijmegen on the second of two consecutive shows, with an estimated audience of 60,000 people per night. One major change to the setlist - Green Eyes replaced Trouble that had been played the previous night. There were fan reports that Chris Martin again looked ill - just in time for Saturday's concert at LCCC and then two massive Wembley dates. He also messed up Postcards which turned

Coldplay's whistlestop Viva La Vida stadium tour flew into Scotland last night as they played at Hampden Park in Glasgow. This show will be featured on Radio 1 tomorrow as was reported recently - and Jay-Z made a special appearance during Lost, which effectively turned the song into Lost+ (as featured on the Prospekt's March EP). No other major changes to the setlist but the playing order of Trouble and Death will Never Conquer where switched, however. Chris Martin once again did an interactive

Coldplay's Viva La Vida tour continued through into Germany last night as they played at the Hannover Stadium in Hannover. Roadie #42 was back tweeting again before the show, from the pre-flight boarding lounge to the stadium stage itself - see those pictures and captions after the jump. Speed Of Sound was again omitted from the setlist, and Death Will Never Conquer returned in place of Til Kingdom Come and was sung by Will Champion on the acoustic stage. Coldplay played the Heineken Jammin' Festival, Venice, Italy last night (9th June 2011). Coldplay's Viva La Vida tour continued on the West Coast last night as they played at the magnificent Home Depot Center in Carson, CA, the fourth in a series of five consecutive Californian shows (not including the 'not-so-secret' show on the 19th at Capitol Records!). Roadie #42 was back tweeting again in force, with twitpics of the huge venue, catering and stage; the Coldplay-shaped puppets were also seen living out their Baywatch fantasies in Santa Monica. Coldplay's Viva La Vida tour continued through Europe last night as they played at Koengen, Bergen in Norway. The Coldplay-shaped puppets go boating in Bergen - see those pictures after the jump. Minor changes to the setlist include Speed Of Sound being moved earlier into the set. Til Kingdom Come was once again played but this time sung by Chris Martin on the acoustic stage. Coldplay's Viva La Vida tour continued through Latin America last night, as they played at the Morumbi Stadium, Sao Paulo, Brazil. The big news from tonight's show was that Parabéns pra você/Happy Birthday was sung acoustically by Will Champion to Chris Martin for his 33rd Birthday. Coldplay once again played Shiver during the acoustic set - a song that has not been played live during a concert since last time they were in South America in 2007 (ironically, the last time it was played was in Bra

Coldplay's Viva La Vida tour continued through Canada last night as they returned to the festival scene, headlining the Osheaga Music & Arts Festival in Montreal. The Coldplay-shaped puppets were last seen yesterday in Toronto - see the pictures after the jump. Coldplay's Viva La Vida stadium tour flew into Ireland last night as they played at Phoenix Park in Dublin. No changes to the setlist that was played in Manchester, except for a small cover of an Irish song called "Ride On" (best known for being performed by Christy Moore) at the end of The Hardest Part. Coldplay gave a fantastic performance on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury festival tonight (25th June 2011). This was their fifth appearance at the festival, and the third as headliners. During the concert both 'Major Minus' and 'Violet Hill' trended worldwide on Twitter. There were no Jay-Z appearances or U2 covers as was widely mooted before the show.   Coldplay again played five new songs as they did in Germany, Italy and the Netherlands recently, which were Hurts Like Heaven (opening song),

Coldplay's Viva La Vida tour restarted into its third year with the highly anticipated Latin America tour, beginning at River Plate stadium, Buenos Aires, Argentina. A new song written specifically for the Latin tour, called Don Quixote (watch the video), was introduced to the setlist. The full set was almost identical to the majority of shows in late 2009. The C-stage was moved back from the floor into the stands. Some excellent photos of the show can be found here at the UOL (Brazil) website.

Coldplay played the Rock im Park Festival, Nürnberg, Germany last night (3rd June 2011), with SEVEN new songs added to the setlist, according to Coldplay's band assistant, Vicki Taylor, who also tweeted a picture from behind the stage.   Setlist details are somewhat sketchy at the moment, but it is believed that Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall closed the show. The Fuzzy Man that was seen in an earlier teaser video posted on ColdplayTV made an appearance as the background visual to one of the new s
