Uhh you're up late ! Very characteristic of Coldplay that the only song that actually mentions the lyrics "X&Y" of the album title is not on the album...and a song that does not mention them at all is called X&Y.

yeah me too. Gravity is more piano-driven and Proof more guitar-driven though, but they both have this ethereal comforting feeling about them....

Proof has a great atmosphere that makes up for the lyrics, which unfortunately sound as if they were taken out of the fourth-grade rhyming book

This song has such a great melody and energy, it should have been a single and not a B-side that never got played live (I begin to notice a pattern, Coldplay !)

Different people from all over the world recorded their vocals and then they were put together, and then we made a video for it :)

Whoa I just got scared by the beginning of Things I Don't Understand ! One of the best Coldplay songs of all time, imho !

I like what you just wrote. That's exactly what I meant in terms of being spiritual...the wonder and amazement at life and the universe. Speed of Sound is a song in that vein :D
