Yeah, it went on for years and Facebook was so slow in reacting and taking the fake profile of "me" down....and he kept making new accounts to circumvent my blocking of him. Last I heard from this person was on Twitter last year, he started following me and write short messages. I didn't react initially but when he began to write me garbled long messages with the same delusional content ("it has been written for a long time, we are meant to be together....") I blocked him again. Haven't heard of him since, thank god.

Ha, so that "I had a crush on Brooke" story in the "Have you ever...." thread is true then ? :joy: Look, I know this problem, I had an online stalker once for several years who kept messaging me on Facebook and later on Twitter and an email adress he found, picked photos from me off the internet, modified them in Photoshop and even made a fake Facebook account in my name with my profile picture ! Stalking is creepy as hell and annoying !! But I didn't get that vibe from Shiver. Songs like that are about one's inner feelings, often lyrically exaggerated, and I think everyone is entitled to their feelings. Doesn't mean Chris was a stalker or something.
