I understand now what you mean. I "see" songs like that in a more abstract way, so I don't visualize a scene such as you described and the song gives me a different, broader feeling.

@coldplayisawesome - It may be a thing of interpretation, but I always used that song when I was upset or angry and it would transfom my anger and soak it up and leave me much calmer ! I always stop listening to the AROBTTH album after the song AROBTTH, it's a better closer than Amsterdam imho. I don't like the first part half of Amsterdam, I have to admit. An unpopular opinion, I know :P

I must admit I still don't understand what this song is really about, or what the "You are" mean.... Maybe it's about a state of mind rather than something specific. I actually love cryptic lyrics like these !
