at first i wasnt the biggest fan of what if, but now its really growing on me and i find it quite beautiful. coldplay needs repeated listens to be truly appreciated

what attracts me more to coldplay and makes me respect them more is that not all of their music is easily accessible. this fact keeps those people who are not truly into their style of music at bay and lets them focus their attention on maroon 5 and justin timberlake :)

i agree completley with albie. fix you on snl was so damn good, then i heard the album version and now i might replace that one with the snl on my ipod. and what if just needed to let loose, that guitar riff is awesome but it seems drowned out.

i want to hear chris sing the song in japanese... that would be an awesome japanese bonus track

i was actually wondering the same thing. i don't think it would truly be a coldplay cd if it wasn't black and plain (to match their wardrobe :) )

i dont know about that, i think chris's vocals in fix you are some of his most inspired and heartfelt yet.

i have to say that till kingdom come sticks out the most to me as my fav so far

the old one was more catchy and tight, to me the new one doesn't seem to know where it's going... i hate saying negative things about coldplay :(

i still remember needing repeated listens to love arobtth and parachutes... at first i didn't like daylight or everything's not lost but those are now two of my favs. i see no reason why X&Y should be different so i am not panicking at all. I am going to love it and that's all there is to it!

i absolutely love till kingdom come, but i was a bit disappointed with what if and fix you. the fix you they did on snl was better, imo... more soul from chris's immaculate voice. i still think the guitars need to be reved up in the what if chorus a tad. all in all i think its an amazing album and i will probably listen to it everday until their next album just like i did with arobth!
