  1. I didn't really like it at the beginning but then at the end of teaser when he sing "look up, look up at the night" all the room is flooded by little stars coming down with the X&Y code. Well, that's nice.
  2. That album go depth in spaces that the first 2 albums didn't explored. It's 3.00 AM here and the 6 new songs are playing perfectly well in the dark mood of the night, something unthinkable before with Coldplay. Except for the Speed of Sound and Talk (I'm pretty sure Talk will be another single) the other songs are so deeply dark and melanconic and I'm pretty sure this album will be great (of course, maybe not so easy listening as the first 2) but when it will reach your soul, it will be the most devastating Coldplay album ever. At this point I hope that the final mastering of the album wouldn't be so bright and clear but I hope it will keep a bit of this dark melancony mood as we can hear on the live versions of the new songs.
  3. http://rapidshare.de/files/1327677/18-05-05_Coldplay_-_Speed_of_Sound__Studio_Vesion_from_Radio1___Chris_Live_interview_320kbps.mp3.html That's from Radio1 20 minutes agò + a 5 minutes of live interview with Chris. 320kbps direct quality stream.
  4. Live version sound a lot more dynamic. I don't really like equalizations and arrangments of the studio version. (electric organ on background is too much loud, damnit) Btw, nice song, but absolutely not their best. (that's not a problem, Coldplay singles was always not my favorites) P.S.: The background chorus are on the KCRW live version too.
  5. Radiohead are the most hated group in the world by the Indies.

It's quite impossible for me to say that there is a song better then the others. Shiver and Politik live are an awesome explosion. Everything's not lost live is another infinite emotion. The moment in Amsterdam when it start singing "Stuck on the end of this ball and chain.." is something incredibly powerfull, so bad they don't play that song live so much. Clocks and God put a smile upon my faces are musically incredibles. Spies, Don't panic, Green Eyes, Bigger stronger, See you soon, A rush of blood to the head and Trouble are the songs that I like most to play and sing with my guitar. 2000 Miles, it's the perfect example to show how awesome is Chris Martin to play a song so beautiful with piano and voice only.
  7. I don't remember exactly when I discovered them but it gotta be late 1999 or early 2000. I remember when I spoke about Coldplay, the few people that know them usually laughed at me saying "those are a bunch of fags for young girls" In fact when I decided to go to Heineken Festival in Italy in the 2000 to see them for the first time, it was hard to find someone who wanted to come with me. I quite suddenly become a so visceral fun of them, something that only happened in my life with Freddie Mercury and Kurt Cobain.
