Bloody Brilliant from start to finish :) :) :) Clocks & Til Kingdom Come were my highlights, the weather was glorious, the setting was beautiful and the music was fantastic!!!

Big HHH fan here... love the way their sound has remained constant at the root level yet evolved on others through all their releases, from songs such as 'Fashion Fight Pause' to '5 Times out of a 100' to 'Bandages' to 'Jingle Jangle' & 'Goodnight Goodnight'... this band certainly know how to make ya wanna get up and dance!!!

its not bad, but i havent listened to it that much.. been a bit preoccupied since thursday night :wink3: so i reckon i need to give it few more listens

so, here's the thing, i mentioned a draw for some X&Y related thing in my post the other day.... i never win anything, but i friggin well won this :) so, its not a lithograph, but it is a beautiful framed X&Y screen print, with a white border. no writing on the picture at all, but at the bottom on the white border it says "Coldplay X&Y" and there is a watermark stamp saying 'Coldplay Official Merchandise limited edition 116 of 150'. dunno about the rest of you, but i havent seen these anywhere for sale? anyone shed some light? i'd put up a pic of it but i dont have a digital camera or scanner, cause its just so lovely!!! anyhoo, im just so chuffed, it looks great and i have the perfect wall to put it up on :) :) :)

No, i didnt get a goodie bag :P the poster and a ticket for the draw is enough though, im just happy to finally have the cd in my hands an on my stereo

i went to Virgin on Henry St. got there at 12.01 or so... no one around, but thats normal for midnight openings on henry st. they were giving away X&Y posters to all customers and entering everyone into a draw for something X&Y related (i cant remember what though, as i was on my way home from the pub :blush: ) so got my cd, got my poster and got my ticket for the draw, which is taking place sometime this afternoon in the store! i think i heard the word lithograph mentioned, but dont quote me on that.

As the pictures have already shown the front and back cover of the cd, i dont need to describe them. Inside the front cover of the booklet, 1st page is just plain navy, the facing page is red with the tracklisting on it, and an '+' below Twisted Logic indicates the hidden track TKC.. with tracks 1-6 as X1-X6 and tracks 7-12 as Y1-Y6. Next page - purple with 6 pics on it, in black and purple, all small, laid out in the same sort of X&Y configuration... the facing page is blue divided into 4 pics, black and blue, one of each of them, all very dark and not very clear, simple but effective. Next page is the middle page with the whole X&Y, a-z laid out, i cant really describe it much better, looks a like the coldplayer layout. Next page is yellow, again with pics in black and yellow, of each of them X&Y style, chris has headphones on in this on, all much clearer due to the yellow page.. the facing page is green with one big shot in black and green, of them all in the studio. Next page is orange, with all the cd info on it, list of charity/organisation websites and "We are still obsessed with the idea of =fair trade= which could easily be achieved if problems with tariffs and subsidisation were addressed" then a thank you to everybody that looks after, advises, criticises and supports us. Facing page is navy blue again with X&Y images on it in the X&Y colours and thats it, the back page of the booklet is navy with nothing on it. Hope that helps keep y'all going till monday.... damn i love dublin :D

is it possible to actually BE IN LOVE with a song? well it is now as i am in love with this song... it has become my all time ever favourite song by any artist...the words, the melody, OMGF!!!!

When a band do shows before the realease of a new album, its to be expected that the new songs will be on the net... doesn't bother me, if anything hearing the live versions make me want the studio versions even more, but i am one of those people that will always purchase cd's once they are on sale even if i already have heard them as nothing beats having the full artwork and the extra goodies that are sometimes on the cd's.

no one would dare make fun of me for liking coldplay as i obviously have exquisite musical taste!

how much do you want one.... far far to much for a healthy adult id say :sneaky: LOL!!! ;)

id really like another packet of Hula Hoops :D

The Band, The Music.. jeez what next, The Guitar, The Drum... i always thought musicians had a bit of imagination, obviously mistaken! will that do for starters? :P
