sorry...you guys were talking about coldplay on page 166 so I just thought I'd chime in with my two cents...but um....yeah I love that song Evil on Antics...hahah :lol:

After seeing the Fix You video I honestly almost gave up on Coldplay. And can we talk about how horrible a song "Proof" is off of the Speed of Sound single? Even their B-Sides aren't as good as they used to be. Talk is better than the Fix You video but still it doesn't have the raw talent that videos like Don't Panic, Trouble, and The Scientist had. Maybe I'm just asking too much. It's almost depressing listening to Parachutes because it's so freaking good and to look now and see where they are. They're so commericalized with their questionaires about what people think of them and their tetris game with fix you playing in the background. I mean come on seriously. Where are the four guys who used to just make good music without all the hype. Even the website is too squeaky clean now. I miss the old website which didn't feel so disconnected from the band. I miss the old Coldplay.

Yeah I had a photopass for the show (that's how I got those great pictures haha) and when we were standing around in the office after we were finished shooting, one of the staff members was talking about how Orlando Bloom was there backstage. I thought that was interesting. They went on around quarter to ten and played till about half eleven, maybe later. He also played a little of "Hey Good Lookin" by Hank Williams too at the end of one song. Also, did anyone see Will running around the amphitheater a couple hours before the show with three other people? I was sitting out in the parking lot and him and his work out crew ran by my car a few times, taking laps. It was so rock and roll. hahaha. But what was really funny about it was that they were running by this car that these people had written twisted logic and coldplay and x&y all over the windows in that window chalk stuff and one of them pointed it out and they all laughed about it. I also took some video on my digital camera during Yellow, The Scientist, and Clocks, but you can hear me singing so I'm keep those to myself :) I also have more pics from the show on my xanga as well: http://www.xanga.com/cshores

Does anybody have any idea where chris got his shirt that he wears at all the gigs? I'm sure it's old and all considering the very visible rips in it. But anyway, I was just wondering because it's pretty cool. If anybody knows could you please let me know?

And what was even better was when Jon Stewart recommended Coldplay's new album along with the Foo Fighters tonight on the Daily Show. And then later when delivering a line about bands that suck, he said something along the lines of unlike Coldplay and the Foo Fighters and something like "Hey, I don't give many recommendations." Which I thought was very cool and makes me love Jon Stewart even more.

I got two tickets for the charlotte gig on sept 9th at Verizon wireless amphitheater. However, I was able to get closer seats than the ones I already had. Because of that, I am selling the two original tickets I got from the presale on ebay with a starting bid of $99 usd and with a buy it now price of $169.99 usd, just so I can cover the other tickets. This song is most definitely underrated, you guys are so right. I saw that they played it at the MTV gig. Does anybody know if they'll be playing it on their tour? I hope so.
