Those aren't the same chords, but the progression is the same. Same 8 note-type with two groups of 3 and 2 at the end. Hey, it's funny that everyone's talking about ripping off Coldplay, when they were inspired by a rift from Rush.

I noticed that the end guitar kinda sounds like the riff from Politik. Maybe it's some form of closure? o.0 I love the "computers looking for life on Earth" lyric as well as "created, drilled and invaded" and "someone will mess it up."

I'm glad it wasn't released as a single; nobody knows about this song so it makes it all the more special to me. That's why I don't like it that Fix You is a single. And I never noticed it before, but The Scientist sorta does a build up as well, just not the explosion I love in these two.
