Warning Sign and Amsterdam are IMO the best songs on the album. I'm kinda glad that nobody notices them. ;) But yea, I guess we are stuck with Clocks and The Scientist as the album's legacy.

Yeah, it's about how violence and war isn't the answer to anything and that nothing is worth fighting (or dying) for.

heh. What about High Speed or We Never Change, or even Parachutes? I'd laugh out loud if I was at a Coldplay concert and Jonny started playing the riff from Parachutes. XD

I've only found like versions. None of them sound real good. I hope the clarity adds something to them when I hear them on the album.

I only know 5: Amsterdam, I Bloom Blaum, Don't Panic, Parachutes and The Scientist. Still, the question I had was, why would he choose Amsterdam as the title since I don't get any sort of Amsterdam-like impression from the song.

I had been wondering this for quite some... Is there any particular reason that this song is titled Amsterdam? Since the name never appears in any of the lyrics, it must have some other significance, right?

I found almost all of the X&Y tracks on Limewire, but I don't want to spoil the album, so I didn't download any. I can't wait to hear Talk.

It's much better than it was five years ago. I had actually bought AROBTTH before I got Parachutes and I was suprised when he sorta lost his voice at the end of "We Never Change."

The riff isn't close to Clocks. Clocks: Eb, Bb, G, Eb, Bb, G, Eb, Bb, Db, Bb, F, Db, Bb, F, Db, Bb, Db, Bb, F, Db, Bb, F, Db, Bb, C, Ab, F, C, Ab, F, C, Ab Speed of Sound: E, D, A, A, E, D, G, G, E, D, G, G, E, D, F#, F# The drums are very similar, as is the subtle orchestration in the background. There isn't nearly enough piano in the chorus/verse to be similar to Clocks, and the bridge goes off on a totally different tangent.

Daylight Everything's Not Lost God Put a Smile Upon Your Face

Speed of Sound is great, it's on par with God Put a Smile on Your Face in my book. Judging by the first experience I had listening to AROBTTH, there will be tracks that are nothing like SOS and many of the tracks that don't become singles are sometimes the best. It's too early to judge. I'll wait until June 7th.

The song is great. I've listened to it about 6 times now and I can't get enough. I'm more eagerly awaiting the release of X&Y. :D

I haven't heard any of the songs in the list, but from what I've heard, What If? is supposed to be an amazing song.

Sounds like the Chinese are trying to cover something... I guess it's because it arouses suspicion that the government actually does have spies watching everything. o.0
