Problem is that you must have enough self-control to only listen a couple of times and not overdo it. I suggest listening to just the teaser clips and wait for the real deal on the 6th/7th. Nothing beats a great stereo system to reveal the full brilliance of an amazing album.

Not really digging the review. The guy seemed a little harsh. Many reviews keep talking about how the band really hasn't changed their sound much and I couldn't disagree more. There are many tunes on X&Y that are nothing like parachutes or arobtth. I believe the band has grown plenty and know that this album will be sensational.

I'm going to try to not hear the leak when it comes out on the 31st on mtv. I'm going to wait until the 7th, get chemically enhanced, and listen to nothing but the new album all day and all night. I want it to be as fresh as possible in my mind.

Judging by the presale response, I would have your credit card ready and loaded on June 4th. I would imagine it will be tricky to get tickets after the on-sale date. Be on-line at 10AM when they go on sale, I would not hesitate if I were you.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on June 4th except for a texas date.

Even if they don't get to number 1 with SOS, I'm almost positive that X&Y will be #1 on the charts in England and the U.S. Both amazon UK and amazon US have X&Y at #1 on the music order section. That should speak volumes about how huge this album will be once it is released.

Wimmulder, I have always been a fan of longer songs. Especially when a band is as talented as Coldplay, I want to have the longest songs possible. Longer songs seem to have more going on in them and allow for more expansion of ideas of melodies and choruses etc. Although coldplay have written some amazing shorter songs(Don't Panic), I have always liked their lengthier creations which hover around the 5-6 minute mark.

Lovin' the track lengths. Nice and meaty, no 3 minute songs here. Cannot Fucking Wait!!!!

Cool video. Love the colors behind the band throughout. Simple, clean and great. Perfect for their return to video.

I got an email from Coldplay but it wasn't presale, it was about the SOS single. The email said that the lottery was over and that if you hadn't received an email that you could still get tickets in the general sale on June 4th. Atleast we know then that the tampa show will go on sale on the 4th. Other than that keep me informed if you get any news and I'll do the same, Take care. Aaron

I still can't believe we didn't get presale emails. I didn't think that the tampa show would have had a huge response right out of the gate but it looks like I am mistaken. I still feel like something fishy is going on with regards to this presale.

I'm starting to worry about the Tampa show. I still have not received a presale email and on the official website for the amphitheatre they have no news at all on Coldplay coming in september. I wish I knew what was going on. I figure that I missed out on the lottery for this show but part of me is wondering if it even ocurred for this show at all. Very strange indeed!!

Gatorsamiam, I believe the amphitheatre holds 20,000+. I see what you mean on the ticketmaster site in regards to Tampa. I think it's some type of glitch not only becasue you can't even try to search for tickets but because it said in the release of the concert cities that all tickets but for a texas date would go on sale on June 4th. I know for sure that Tampa tickets have not gone on sale yet. We'll have to wait and see and I still have not received a presale email.

I also sent in for Tampa presale and have yet to hear back and I signed up to coldplay.com years ago. I know that tickets have not gone on sale yet so don't worry. June 4th is still the general sale day. I'm still hopeful that I will get an email soon though.

I heard the new talk clip on Amazon UK and have to say I may like the leaked version better. It is probably because that is the only version I have heard all the way through and love it. However, I think the new arrangement will be just great and it seems as though it is building to a new chorus. All in all, this album will be an absolute CLASSIC!!
