Oh man oh man are you right. After several more listens through of the songs it keeps getting better. This is an album to just put on and let go. For Coldplay to continually put out albums where the whole thing is classic is phenomenal in my opinion. I know that as people listen more and after its release this album will attain true heights. An amazing album from an amazing group.

We all know how great White Shadows, Square one, and Fix You are. What about Twisted Logic? I think it's stellar. "You Go Backwards Again, You Go Forwards Again". God it's great And Choldplayer, how could you skip Daylight???That song is sooooo good.

I love sos but it is not as good as the other songs on the album. X&Y the song keeps blowing me away. An outstandingly beautiful song. Anyone who doesn't think Coldplay have advanced need only hear this.

I'm not sure yet. I am nothing short of blown away at the moment. This album is certainly as good as parachutes and arobtth. Time will tell if it's better. Still X&Y is FUCKING LOADED :D

I have to agree with you here. I did love the opening lines to the original. However, you can still put together an X&Y album with both versions of Talk after it is released. I am seriously considering doing that.

Both versions of Talk are going to be classics. The new version has the studio richness that is evident on all tracks from X&Y yet was not on the leaked version of Talk. I like the new lyrics as well. I wish everyone would just be happy because finally new Coldplay is upon us, and I for one am so excited it has been hard to contain myself the past few weeks :D

Agreed. If they produce another album like Parachutes...it's like they're going backwards, no? To some respect, yes. I just want Coldplay to keep on keeping on. Their signature sound is still apparent on this release.

This is why I don't get some of the reviews of the new album. A few have suggested that Coldplay have not changed their sound or advanced etc.. I see this album as a step forward creating a different sound. Fresh and exciting.

Albie, Coldplay has created an even more dense, layered, and rich sound on this record that I think works really well. I don't see that as overproduced. This album will take many listenings to discover its true meaning.
