Thanks for your response:) I find though that in America, being gay has become less of an issue among the youth. It's like they know someone that is and are being told that it's not the great big sin that previous generations were told it was. I think the tide is slowly going to turn in this country:)

to be honest, although people could be fired here for it, I have never heard of it happening because there would be lawsuits filed against it. I just wish that this country would join up with the more progressive countries and allow people to be free to marry who they want to marry.

In Florida, where I live, there is no provision to protect gay people in the workplace. You can be fired for it. Many states, especially in New England and on the west coast have protections in place. And some states do provide full state recognized gay marriage.
