  1. if you've been to a U2 concert, you'll notice the drastic change from a normal concert. I agree they are the best live band ever, though i am biased, but they well deserve it, check out the Slane Castle DVD. F'ing amazing. "Where the Streets Have No Name" blows you away! Cool Coldplay made the top 10, with only 2 albums lol.
  2. "the Scientist" cries me to sleep before...I can relate to wishing for the past recently SNL's Fix You...repeat on forever...I showed it to some people... BAM instant Coldplay converts
  3. see I've heard the Coachella recording a lot now, and put SNL's Fix You on repeat a lot of times now. The only X&Y studio track I've heard is SoS, which you all have heard. What I want to say is, I sure hope the album doesn't leak. I know most of us will jump on the torrents or whatever, cuz we are dearly obssessed. I normally do, like with the new Oasis album (which is awesome). I download bands I love, not bands I like. But I'll buy the Oasis album later this year. But with such an exceptional band like Coldplay, I rather feel the experience of ripping off the plastic wrap, inspecting each inch of the album art, and finally CAREFULLY picking up the CD (NO SCRATCHES!!!) and putting it in your stereo/CD player/iTunes. You understand? Hearing the new album for the first time sounds better than illegally getting it. Some of you probably are too anxious, and will download it if it comes out, but for my 2 bits, I'm hoping it won't get leaked. Chris and the boys deserve that.

  7. has anyone tried tabbing Fix You? for guitar or piano? I tried watching the SNL vid a lot, but really i'm no good at this it's such a beautiful song...sniff "tears stream...down your face...and I will fix you" seriously like my favorite Coldplay lyric already

all it takes to play music is lots of dedication and time. There was a time when I abandoned my piano for years because of sheer laziness, but thank gosh for Chris Martin, who singlehandedly restored my interest after I heard "The Scientist". I ordered the sheet music, and voila. Thanks Coldplay

my name is Tim, i love Coldplay very much. I got hooked on those Brits when i saw "The Scientist" video on iTunes, and borrowed my friends copy of AROBTTH. INSTANTLY hooked, bought the album, and here I am. (The song is currently my 2nd favorite song of all time) I enjoy playing my acoustic guitar and piano, I can play "Politik", "the scientist", "clocks" on piano and "Yellow, "Don't Panic" on guitar. I'm learning more nowadays since my Coldplay fever heated up since I heard Fix You on SNL. So hey. my favorite bands 1. U2 2. Coldplay 3. Beatles 4. Oasis 5. Foo Fighters
