Coldplay's contract with EMI is due to expire after the next album, so we'll no doubt see a 'Greatest Hits' with maybe a couple of extra tracks chucked in... question is, what do you think should be on it? Gotta play Devil's Advocate I'm afraid. LITii would have been better with the airy Eno esque embience at the start ala LIT. Plus, Chris Martins lyrics for the most part are just words that rhyme, so I appreciated LIT cos' musically it was genius.

When 'LP 4' was announced, the original track listing was: * Lost! * Cemeteries of London * Violet Hill * Poppy Fields * 42 * Yes! * Leftrightleftrightleft * Rainy Day So, as I was saying, is anyone gonna order a set of MP3s in this way? (aside from Leftrightleftrightleft of course, which doesn't feature on Viva.. or Prospekt's..)? I know I am. I'm curious to know just how much different the album would have been had it not been changed at the N'th hour.

I must be listening to a different gig to you lot cos as far as I'm concerned they sound sloppy as hell (all aside from Will). I mean they didn't even play Strawberry Swing in time for god sake and the Bass / Drums are drowning out the rest. The mix is terrible. And because everything else is so loud Chris is having to raise his voice and ultimately strain it to sing over the rest...

I know you're probably gonna all testify that you absolutely love Coldplay and don't skip any of the tracks on Viva la Vida (I didn't at first), but after 2 weeks of listening now, theres 1 track (well 2) that I skip on the album in my 40 minute ride to work and it's Track 6 (Yes/Chinese Sleep Chant). I don't hate the track per-se, but if I play it, I don't get to hear 'Death and all his friends' (a track I prefer much more) before I actually arrive at work. So... my question is this: Any of you skipping through any of the tracks yet? Also, heres my honest rating of the album (not A/A- for every track): 1. Life In Technicolor 9/10 2. Cemeteries Of London 8/10 3. Lost! 6/10 4. 42 9/10 5. Lovers In Japan/Reign Of Love 8/10 (would be a 10 without reign..) 6. Yes (5/10) 7. Viva La Vida (10/10) 8. Violet Hill (7/10) 9. I got the gatefold edition. Given an actual choice, I'd have gone for a jewel case however, because the gatefold edition a. isn't rare at all... it seems to be all the shops have and b. is flimsy as hell (see pics). As a side note, I paid 8.97 from play.com and asda is selling it for 7.00 for all you brits looking for a bargain! Heres a few pics of my 'gatefold version'. The CD is in my car, so no pics of that I'm afraid.

Chris asked us to sing along at the end. Its really spooky having been there and actually watching the video in retrospect. Very cool though.

I enjoyed it, but I got there well early, and the change-over for the bands was shockingly long (40 mins+)... but it felt like forever. Coldplay of course stole the show, but I'm also an Elbow fan, so I was looking forward to that too. I found it really funny that I was the only one who knew the words to any of the Elbow songs in my vercinity too..

Aye, it was immense. I don't care if I'm actually in the video or not (of course I won't be), but the atmosphere was totally electric..

Coldplay started 10 minutes late last night. About 8.55 an anouncement came out over the tannoy system "Due to several thousand people not being in their seats yet, Coldplay will be ten minutes later than advertised", and they hit the stage about 9.15

BTW the tracker has to be specific to the site you're uploading a torrent to or it wont work too. You can't just pick some random tracker.

Well what most people forget to do is actually open the torrent themselves when they've created it, so I just thought I'd point it out :)

To create a torrent follow these steps (going from memory here, so forgive any sketchy areas).. 1. Download and install 'Make Torrent' 2. Open it and point to the directory where your DVD files are located and select 'all' 3. Where it says tracker add ' http://tracker.prq.to/announce' (if using thePirateBay). 4. Click 'create torrent now' and it'll make a .torrent file. 5. Go to http://www.thepiratebay.org and click on 'upload torrent' 6. Fill in all details for the file and upload the torrent. 7. Once it's uploaded you have to actually open the .torrent file yourself so you can seed it, otherwise people can't connect to you and access it :P

Okay I've done a search for 'red', 'blue', 'sticker' and I've come up with nothing, so I've got to ask... I know the two black strips on his hand are basically the logo for Make Trade Fair, but what the heck are the red and blue things he wears on two of his fingers supposed to symbolise??
