  1. I actually had my mom watch it this morning (since I'm at work all day) and she said that I wasn't one of the ones chosen =(. When I was filmed, I said my favorite rock bands were Incubus, Red Hot Chili Peppers and U2. My friend said his favorite songwriting groups. I was, however, focused in on during "What If" and "Clocks" as part of the Live Leak concert that was shown earlier this month on MTV and MTV 2. And I even got a hi-five from Will and Jonny after they bowed! Unfortunately, we weren't allowed to bring cameras with us into the studio and couldn't ask for autographs after the performance. Nevertheless, it was an AMAZING experience.
  2. Yes, it's just on MTV2.
  3. I just found out some more additional airtimes: Tuesday, 7/05 - 8:00 AM Wednesday, 7/06 - 10:30 AM Friday, 7/08 - 8:30 AM
  4. By any chance, was the show called "Playlistism" and shown at 8 PM on Monday, June 27th? I just went on the MTV website and saw that the show featured Coldplay. Future airtimes for the show on MTV 2 are as follows: Tuesday, 6/28 - 10:00 AM Wednesday, 6/29 - 3:30 AM Wednesday, 6/29 - 2:30 PM Thursday, 6/30 - 4:00 AM Thursday, 6/30 - 8:30 AM Friday, 7/01 - 10:30 AM
  5. Chris has been playing guitar more than he used to recently I've noticed as well; songs that come to mind right now off of "X & Y" are "Low" and "Till Kingdom Come."
  6. Oh my goodness!!! WHEN EXACTLY WAS THIS ON?! What was the name of the TV show, if you can recall? My good friend and I were one of the twenty or so people that they picked to tape and ask Coldplay the playlist questions...so I'd really love to see it to see if we were shown on TV. The kids who were chosen to ask Coldplay the questions were mostly the ones who won tickets to see them perform at Live Leak. They filmed the playlist questions two days before the filming of Live Leak. On that day, the fans chosen to attend Live Leak were treated to attend a listening party to hear the album in its entirety nearly three weeks before its release.
  7. I think its because he's anti-George Bush, and that's when his term expires.

Coldplay's "X & Y" remained on the top of the charts this week in the United States. Check it out here from MTV: http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1504497/20050622/coldplay.jhtml?headlines=true Any sales reports from other countries around the world?
  9. At least for the UK leg of the tour, the guys will be playing for 1 hour and 40 minutes (as opposed to the 75 minute Hamburg show that they recently did).
  10. "Your Love Means Everything" also.
  11. Since they are embarking on the Twisted Logic Tour, wouldn't it make sense for them to play "Twisted Logic" as well?
  12. For those of you who have not yet seen the "Live Leak" performace on MTV (and even for those of you who have but want to see it again), the following is a list of times/dates that it will be shown on MTV (Eastern Standard Time): Tuesday, 6/14 - 3:00 AM Thursday, 6/16 - 6:00 PM Friday, 6/17 - 2:00 AM Sunday, 6/19 - 2:00 AM Monday, 6/20 - 1:00 AM
  13. By the way...MTV has posted the videos from Live Leak on their site as of today. You can find them here: http://www.mtv.com/bands/az/coldplay/audvid.jhtml
  14. Thank you so much, asherj123! It was great seeing it again! *Sigh* One of the best nights of my life! I actually won tickets to see them perform at that show...and, like the "Clocks" lyric goes, "Nothing else compares." I was so psyched to see that shots of me actually made it on the air too...my ex-boyfriend (who I took as my companion) is shown about 1 min into "What If," with the camera looking up at him, and I was focused in on about 3 min into the same song, moving along to the music with a grin on my face =). I was also in the closing credits when they played "Clocks," smiling and cheering. Happy to say that I helped to make a couple of new Coldplay fans after they saw the show and recognized me too!
  15. They've been married since Deecember 5, 2003. Apple was born on May 14, 2004.
  16. Good to see that its on heavy rotation with MTV 2! Can't wait to watch it again! I actually won tickets to see them perform at that show...and, like the "Clocks" lyric goes, "Nothing else compares." 17. MTV gig Was anyone able to find a torrent or movie file of the MTV Live Leak?
  18. Coldplay only recieved three stars from Rolling Stone's Reviewer! HMPH! I was also saddened that they didn't make the cover...that honor belongs to the Dave Matthews Band. Anyone else shocked?! I seriously thought that they would get at least four stars, maybe even four and a half! Check it out for yourselves... http://www.rollingstone.com/reviews/album/_/id/7372421/coldplay?pageid=rs.Home&pageregion=triple1
