So the shooting was true? I heard a breif mention of something about it in the news, but I didn't pay much attention . . . kinda scary. And, I still have yet to watch the performance. Sigh.

I watched the VMAs for a while, but when the first half hour or so was nothing but rap, I turned it off in disgust. This morning on the Today show, they mentioned Green Day was the "big winner" with Video of the year . . . And I have yet to watch their performance, which was really bad apparently?? Also: there was something about a shooting at the VMAs after the awards?? I dunno if I heard right?? Anyway, Coldplay's too cool for MTV! :lol:

I saw that clip on the Daily Show. My mom and I both laughed, because just before that we were talking about the Coldplay Concert I was going to the next day! :lol:

I do agree-I heard the piano in Clocks, and ever since I've been, err, addicted to Coldplay!

Ah, at the Pittsbrugh concert, he mentioned going to see the Steeleres in Politik (Steelers being Pittsburgh's football team) and he dedicated Everything's Not Lost to Ben Rothelisberger (Steelers' QB), even though he had no idea who he was! :P That's from one city, though! There's bound to be more out there!

Whoa, i've had too many to keep track of! :wink3: My dream last night: I was at a Coldplay Concert, and there was an intermission. I left my seat to take a walk around the venue, only to see them. At first, all four of them were together, but I went back to my seat to ask a friend for her camera. I raced back. By then, Jonny had dissapeared, and Guy was off talking with some other people (I was too shy to go talk to him) so I took a picture of Will and Chris. The concert later resumed, and my seat was suddenly really close to them. But then, the gold bag lady came on stage and joined in the singing. She was dressed nicely as opposed to those pics we see her in. She had a really good singing voice, and I even got to talk to her. She was very nice. However, then a local newspaper came out, saying that numerous cats had attacked President Bush, and my cat was attacking him on the front cover! He had his army try to kill the cats, but instead, the cats ran home. I was quite proud of my cat! :lol: Interesting, eh? :confused:

I remember the first 3 were: Square One, Politik and then GPASUYF. The last 3 (encore) were: In My Place, A Message, and Fix You. Inbetween those, I don't remember the exact order, but they played Don't Panic, Yellow, Clocks, Speed Of Sound, Everything's Not Lost, The Scientist, Talk, Til Kingdom come, and I think they played Low and/or The Hardest Part.
