just got back as well. Was in the 100s section, diagonal side stage, AWESOME view. I agree, i think the energy couldve been much better. My voice is pretty much gone. It was amazing, i think i can die happy now :) THey did change politik lyrics here too, this isnt a direct quote but it was something to the effect of "back home in brooklyn, bronx, queens, let's give some love to new orleans". at the end of Fix You he said "And now it's time for us to say, thanks for coming out to see us play, there's no where else id rather be, than here in NYC" (though that last line couldve been a lil different). Ok bed for me, i have class tomorrow and need to get up at 9 am. im sure theres more id want to comment on, but i cant think straight. oh, and i really didnt like rilo kiley. they bored me after 2 songs and by the end of their set i had a headache. Which coldplay cured, of course!

actually doors open at 6:30. they claim opening act will be on at 7:30, but we know that wont happen.

Its now 2:15 pm... i have to leave my house at 3:30 to go to a dr appointment at 4:30 and then meet my friend at 5:30 after her classes... i just wanna get out of the house already so time can go faster if im doing something! And ipod or not... wouldnt a cell phone send off the detector anyway? or keys? i mean really, i assume they just wand you and not your bag since they will check it anyway. Otherwise everybody would be going off and it'd be hell to get in.

im grabbing some dinner with my friend and we'll prob get there around 7:00. A friend of mine is a big fan of Rilo Kiley, i promised her id check them out (even though i know some of you here seem to dislike them!). My plan is, on the way in, scope out the closest bathroom to my section, then between Rilo and CP thats my one and only bathroom break! aaaaah 9 1/2 hours left! I have lots of stuff to do today so hopefully that'll kill some time :/ oh and here's a question... I assume my Ipod will set off the metal detectors? will my Ipod get screwed up passing through it or am i just being paranoid?

omg i cant believe...less than 24 hours... this is my first time ever seeing them live i still dont think its sunk in that im seeing them! i think ive waited so long since the tickets were on sale that now its surreal!

aww sorry to hear that man. classes started for me last week. Lucky for me on wed i dont have class til 11 so atleast i get to sleep until 9... and i only have 2 classes so im only there for 2 hours so then im going home and sleeping some more heh

Ive posted around a little but havnt introduced myself as of yet. My name is Christine, im 18, from Queens, New York. Just finished up my first year of college last month, majoring in Journalism. Have been a Coldplay fan since just after the release of Rush Of Blood, so i cant say im a long timer. After i bought that my friend burned me a copy of Parachutes. Only made me fall more in love with their music! Ive never seen them live, and neither has my friend, and we're excited because we got tickets for 9/6 at Madison Square Garden, and good seats at that! Im so amped even though its so many months away! Stumbled on the board on tuesday searching fo X&Y lyrics and im glad i did! I really love the people on this board, you guys seem awesome.

well, one time i was coming home from my grandmothers house in New Jersey. We were driving across i think it was the Goerge Washington bridge, going back to Queens and it was night time and I was listening to rush of blood..., looking out at the skyline and the lights. So now everytime i listen to it, i think of that image.

the only one i dont really like is "The Hardest Part". I didnt like a whisper at first either and now i love it. so i think eventually The Hardest Part will grow on me

my brother was like i dont know how you love coldplay and dont like radiohead they are the same thing! i have to strongly refute that! I just cant get into radiohead what so ever, i hear them as 2 totally different bands. these people need to get over it.

you know, the first time i listened through i was really sure how i felt about it. listening again, i really do love the album. but its very different from their previous two. which shows they are growing, moving into a new direction. Which is important.

I'm going as well. Got 2 tickets. So excited! Never seen them live before
