  1. kept doing that to me yesterday until eventually about 16:00 it gave me my ticket details
  2. omg that was a good finale. i cried soooooo much when jin died, poor Sun. And how the hell did John get off the island? why was he bullying them to go back? why does claire not want aaron to go back to the island? will desmond & penny live happily ever after?
  3. so going with the theory that standing makes everyone equal debate, do people with disabilities, or those who ended up on crutches the day before the gig have an equal chance to reach the front? having seen the way people sprint for the front once they're in, i'd say no. they may well have been to a 'proper gig' before and may also be a 'hardcore fan', so surely they are also entitled to be near the front
  4. I've stolen an idea from the rugby messageboard I visit. When we went to Twickenham for the Premiership Final, we created a seating list so we knew if there were any board members seated near by. I've started doing this on the UK tour threads where people have posted details, but I'm quickly losing track coz you lot post so darned much & so darned fast :P And I've no idea where to start with the rest of the world!! :shocked2: If you check out the first post with Ian's list of questions on your relevant show page, you'll see if I've added you. example of one i've done here If not, please PM your block number, venue & show date and I'll add you :D My dream is that every show will have a seating plan like that so you can pre-plan.
  5. presumably as they start to check credit card details and numbers of tickets bought, they start to become available again where there have been errors or the sale has been refused by the card company
  6. have they said how much they're charging you? i would have hoped they'll have charged you the cheaper price if they ran out before your booking got through
  7. our ticket sales always seem to be that early. I'm guessing because the tickets mainly get posted out.
  8. no plan in there yet http://www.coldplaying.com/forum/showthread.php?t=45468 but you can catch up with the other guys who are going
  9. which birmingham date? there may be a seating plan in the thread already. i've lost track of whose posted plans where lol

    Zemy, what date you going?
  11. if you got the gigsnadtours tickets. they're slowly adding seat allocations in. just need to go to order tracker with your booking ref & email addy
  12. I actually preferred sat down because I'm only little. In 2002 had to cling to the barrier for dear life with Ian stood protecting me. Still got battered as people further back tried to push their way to the front. 2003, we didn't make it to the barrier, so I ended up separated from Ian. Some drunken oaf kept leaning on me trying to see better so I nearly got knocked off my feet & trampled on. 2005 - 3 shows. all seated. was able to see as was higher than stage level. didn't get jumped on, squashed or trampled on. had plenty of space to dance/jump up and down.
  13. nice concept :D they could perform on a floating stage above you
  14. 2002 - stood at the front in touching distance of guy 2003 - stood at the front, not quite at the barrier 2005 - sat
  15. Mimi's not a corporate bod, and she has front centre block 11th row tickets which she bought this morning
  16. every event has to have a risk assessment. even your local book signing with your local author with just 10 people attending has to have one. and as to going to a proper gig, would you count Coldplay Mountford Hall 2002, MEN Arena 2003 & 2005, Bolton Reebok 2005 as proper gigs?
  17. could be worse, might have ended up with Westlife :laugh3:
  18. it was the fact you had to book blind, just take 2 tickets & hope they were somewhere decent. I would have sat in the dustbin so long as I could still see & hear them :laugh3:
  19. I'm guessing block 414, row q, seat 787 if its the same format as the MEN use
  20. woooooo glad I stuck with the msytery tickets. way better than anything ticketmaster offered me. block 113 on 12th December in MEN
  21. its not ludicrous. without Coldplay, we wouldn't have any of this, another band maybe but it wouldn't be the same. they didn't have to get back together and create a new album. and they definitely didn't have to do such a big tour. it doesn't hurt to show some appreciation of the hardwork they will be putting in. as for the standing issue itself, who's to say its Coldplay's decision? in today's litigatious climate, it could quite easily be the promoter or the venues decision. someone has to do a risk assessment based on the individual event, and with Chris running into the audience on the last shows that could well be a factor. having seen how well mobbed Take That were at their shows with floor seating, I can easily imagine it would be uncontrollable in a free standing area. at the end of the day, they have to come up with a solution which satisfies all parties. they can't please everyone.
  22. I actually don't remember, we were a little drunk by that point :embarassed:
