Just because they're moderators, doesn't mean they're not allowed to have their opinion. You're a well respected and looked up to person in this community, too, Mark, yet you're still part of this arguement. You have 40000 posts and post in a LOT of threads, with your trademark jokes, so you're probably regarded by most of the newbies that come here as an important "role model" type person here. Not saying you should be, but it's probably the way it comes across to people who join here. As for Nathan's "bullying", Jen, I see what you're saying but short jokes are something you learn to put up with if you're short. I'm really tall, and I've had kids in year 7, when I was in 6th form walking past saying "WOAH HE LOOKS LIKE PETER CROUCH!". I don't really care now, but at the time it was a bit annoying. A bunch of people like Simon here, but there'll always be someone who doesn't, and someone who makes fun of him. The fact is, Simon will have made fun of someone else at some point in his life, and he will again. Same for Mark, me, Nathan, Lore, Ren, Johnny (if he's even anyone...). The thing with Nathan is, a bunch of people on here and other forums we've been on have spoken to him off the forum and found he's a completely different person. I know more than most cause he's basically my best mate. He's posted videos of himself and voice clips and everything, where he basically made fun of the "reputation" he has here. He's told people more than once not to take his insults seriously. Yet people still do? It's beyond me. I've enjoyed this arguement though, it's nice seeing actual blunt opinions on this forum. I remember a few years ago when it was actual discussion, and I've said a bunch of times that I didn't think the Lounge was as good now because so many people are scared to say things because of how people will react to them. It takes a lot away from a lot of threads that could have been VERY interesting to talk in. Cause at the end of the day, I know Mark's gonna go to sleep at... well whenever he sleeps... and not worry about this forum, Lore and Ren are gonna do the same, probably dreaming of Radiohead or something, and Nathan will go back to his cage and eat some young children, and I'll go to sleep and do the same. I love the reputation Nathan's built, though... In all honesty, this forum's not been this fun since Reilly was still here.

You should know from the past years we've been on this forum, I haven't brought up any massive problems with you until now, have I? I even said in my post yesterday that I can understand why some people like your posts. It just happens that I think that your humour is absolutely awful and reading some of your jokes is like diving face first into a pool of crushed glass. As for Nathan's bullying... if that's bullying... then some people need to really grow up. Because all Nathan does is gives his point of view, and calls someone an idiot for saying something stupid. If someone's going to be mentally wounded because of his comments then they're probably too mentally fragile to be on the internet. Everyone should know by now that it's nothing personal with his comments, he says them to everyone, even me. It's just what he does and to me, and an increasing number of people, it's very entertaining.

Yeah but I've only ever used the Ignore feature once. MAFE I think it was. And it wasn't cause we'd had an arguement, it was just cause she wrote things in a way my eyes couldn't stand reading. The problem is curiosity. If they both put eachother on ignore, they'd end up checking every post just on the off chance they'd spoke about eachother.

To be honest, it's just because Mark and Nathan won't let this go. And people get involved. Nathan makes blunt comments about things. I think most of them are hilarious, but he'll tell you himself, I've had a go at him before for putting them in threads where it's probably so unnecessary that it annoys people. The way I see it, Nathan shouldn't make comments in threads that involve personal problems/tragedies. But in any other random thread, I enjoy what he says. He makes comments that are so blunt, but everyone else is thinking them anyways. That's why I enjoy it. They're funny. Mark makes his jokes. I personally don't find them very funny, but I can understand when other people enjoy them. They are awful though. That's my personal opinion and I'm not the only person to think that, but whatever. I don't read most of them. I go out of my way to just scroll past most of Mark's posts. Other people like them, I don't, meh. I don't think generally in general threads, I point that opinion out. I think Mark can say himself that I don't randomly point at his jokes like "THAT'S A SHIT JOKE, MARK!!!" The thing here is that Mark can't seem to ignore Nathan's posts, and Nathan can't seem to ignore Marks. That's what started the whole thing between them. Mark was quick to point out where he thought Nathan's posts were bad, and Nathan was just as quick to point out when he thought Mark's posts were horribly unfunny. My problem with Mark is that he's saying Nathan does things, and trying to portray Nathan as the bad guy, when Mark's doing everything he's complaining about. In all honest, you could look through the posts in random threads and this thread, this week, and you'd find Mark has mentioned this situation and taken a sly dig at Nathan way more than Nathan has to Mark. I don't like this stuff about how I'm supposedly just standing up for my friend. It makes no difference whether I'm Nathan's friend or not. The same for Lore and Ren. Ren's barely spoken to Nathan at all before this. And the only contact he's had with Lore is to be told off for unappropriate comments. I just happen to agree with Nathan's notion that Mark tells jokes and they have no point to me. And I disagree with Mark's behaviour here. He's been claiming that Nathan's been getting people to gang up on him, when it's not true at all. Nathan never once asked me to agree with him. Never went reporting him to mods or admins (did Mark do this? I know he's mentioned that he was going to...) He claimed that Nathan's part of a group, when he keeps mentioning his award and how many "fans" he has. He's said that Nathan keeps bringing it up again, when I've been in numerous threads where Mark's said "wait for a certain troublemaker to come and ruin your thread! ;)" even though neither Nathan, myself, anyone else has even been in the thread. It's just goading, is he surprised threads like that get ruined? When it's him bringing that tone in to it? But he proceeds to act like it's all Nathan's fault when it happens. Aside from Mark's contradictions, his friends are just as bad. Simon just wants to apologise for everything, and expects everyone to do the same. When Nathan doesn't feel he's done anything wrong, he's not going to apologise. That's the problem you're bringing on yourself, Simon. By apologising just to get it over with, you're showing yourself as a weak person who'll say he's done something wrong even when he doesn't believe he has. You'd gather a lot more respect for yourself by not giving up like that. Johnny... I'm not sure what to think about you. It's unfortunate to see that you're one minute claiming everyone should stop fighting and that Nathan's wrong for insulting you, before you do it again. Then when your reasoning for that is "if everyone else is doing it, why should I just sit there and be an angel?!" it's just like... you're destroying your point. If you're going to claim to be the peacemaker and bigger man, at least stick to it. You're really not doing yourself any favours and it gives your percepted level of maturity a big hit, too. Anyways that's just my opinion. And I don't think I've been abusive in any way in this post. Mark said to me a few days ago that I'm no saint, but aside from Mark, Johnny and Simon, how many people have had any problems with the way I talk to people on this site?

He's saying things and defending it with freedom of speech and so on, yet Nathan's not allowed to do the same?
