What are your theories or thoughts on Kaotica the planet?! The guys have said it’s a planet full of trash and rejects (objects and aliens)... could we be getting a story in this setting? This explains why the video that came with the official audio is set in a rather looking abandoned place, full of Shipping Containers... they’ve mentioned that they are filming the official video in Kaotica, and that it’s really not a nice place. We are probably going to get different planets for different songs... but I’m still trying to relate Kaotica with Higher Power...

Higher Power, boy I was not excepting this... It reminds me so much of Ghost Stories, but a Happy Ghost Stories, (maybe it’s the synth that gives it this empty, or space feel, I think someone already mentioned here),with the best qualities of AHFOD sprinkled on top. I like it, because if this is the sound of their single (the most comercial song from the album)... it means we can get some cool, special and even different songs on the album!!!!

Hi! I think it’s just a fake cover, Planeta Coldplay is a Spanish speaking Coldplay fansite.... they are know for doing covers and re-editing songs, this is just probably their interpretation of HP....

HEAR ME OUT!!! Guys, I’ve been noticing a lot of disappointment and dissatisfaction from the snippet we got.. and while I understand where this comments come from, I think we have to give our guys the benefit of the doubt. First, we’ve only heard 15 seconds from a -at least- 3 minute song, and yeah, it’s pop, but pop ≠ bad necessarily. Second, I get the felling, as it has been proven many times before, that this single is going to be the poppiest the album gets, it’s a single for a reason, their most comercial sound to catch those casual listeners, and non fans. I also think this song is different or the odd one out from the album, given the fact that they are betting to release it 3-4 months before the album even comes out, they are promoting it almost as a separate thing: in summer, as a radio friendly hook, to catch people and bring awareness of their existence and “relevance”, like a signal saying: “hey, we are back... remember us? We are huge!!! And will be back later this year with more fun! “. So, let’s just wait, and trust them, we know what they are capable of, and they know what they are doing... besides, they have never, ever, EVER done the same thing twice; it’s just not who they are, and we know they give their all every single time! Let’s remain calm, hopeful, and excited, love you all, A Coldplay Fan.

The only thing I found related to the “Kaotican” new banner is this: just a brand/type of microphone.... My guess is that Kaotican is a “race” or “species” of “alien”... the ones sending a transmission... a snippet coming?

What is selling me the idea of them releasing something later this year (which I strongly believe) is their timeline showing the “Everyday Life” era ending in 2020... otherwise, they would have simply left it open; even if it’s just them changing things up, for whatever reason, they decided to end that era, making way for the release of new material (if it’s released this year, next or in 4 years -2024 ?- we don’t know).... yet!
