Yeah, I had to edit it mostly for my mom and grandma. It's so obvious what it says, though. And it's so obvious that I put the thing over it :laugh4: oh well! Yeaaaaaaaaaaah.... well, I dunno, my walls are sort of an extension of myself, my rooms really where I spend my most time lately, be it editing pictures or writing or playing bass. Obviously I get out, but, it's nice to have a little oasis to come to. And I dunno, I like to make it kind of arty too. Like the thought's crossed my mind to paint lyrics on the walls too..... hmm.... I'd have to choose wisely, though! ahaha oh god, and Harmony totally DOES say "ph'shaw" in 'Insect Eating Man'. It took me a really REALLY long time, and lots of NME's to cut up. Plus I had to read the articles on everything I cut apart because I felt bad :laugh4: So yeah, that took about 5 hours to do :uhoh: But it came out nice. I'm going to make a little Libertines shrine next to the DPT one again with stuff that I print whenever I can. I'm good for now. ahaha. If it weren't for them, I wouldn't have gotten into the Libs (since I read all the comparisons, that's when I checked 'em out). So I wouldn't be here! Everyone saying how the second album's going to suck no matter what, but I don't give a flying fuck about that. I'm an actual music fan, not someone who just likes a band for the hell of it. People are morons. I'm really glad that 'Shambles and DPT didn't get the attention like Arctics did (I blame that completely on the NME, though, not the band itself). I would have liked them to get worldwide buzz like that cuz they deserve it... but... yeah. At least people aren't already ready to kill their second album. Well.... ok, maybe not totally because I am so gone when it comes to DPT I still listen to the album fully each day. But I listen to the bsides just as much. Well, ok, I have really big plans as it goes on, but that'll be awhile yet ;) But yeah, I had no idea what to do before I started, and now it's just going and going. I dunno, maybe just pick someone you don't think gets enough..... or just some random idea you had at the back of your mind. It could become something. Even if you just open up Word and write some random drivvle, it could morph into something else.. ;) That's the best advice I can give. I swear to god I saw her in Boston, but maybe I'm just going insane. I mean, I know Annalisa was there since I said hello to her outside of the bathroom (long fucking story LMFAO that whole day was a long story that I can't possibly convey totally, ever LMFAO). I think she's pretty awesome, very androgynous. I like her hair a lot (short haired girls, represent!). I've kind of always wanted to do mine that way... maybe I will when I go off to college and get REALLY daring. Probably won't though :laugh4: You have to be someone like her to pull it off. Aw no, Red, I agree. I think it's kind of what makes her so.... I dunno, I just think that's really cool. I tend to like much more feminine girls, so she's really not too hot to me, but that's just me. Her and Josh make a really cool couple. Yeah, exactly. I think Carl and Didz saying that kind of validated me to do it. I didn't even have the idea kicking around for awhile, I think I just mentioned it here and saw everyone saying "more Stan and John!" and I was thinking the same. Like shit, there should be. So I decided to do something about it. :laugh4: I kind of wish I could know what my fic is like outside of me writing it.... Cuz being the author of something gives you a very different outlook on it when you read it back. So I don't really know if it's building right until I send it off to you girls on the LJ. It's kind of weird for me, not used to it at all, but I enjoy it a lot. I read absolutely NO fic or slash or ANYTHING before I read something on the albion place, which I came upon accidently at that. And it was just..... really REALLY good. It made me cry (it was a Peter and Carlos one, I can't for the life of me remember what the title was, but it was brilliant. It had a whole paragraph on how Peter's like a martyre and had all these crazy references that I loved ok enough geeking out) anyways, so, I never even thought of it. But that was so brilliant that I got into more. It's just ok, with them. Other bands it's just shit. But I think it's because the people writing them for the Libs and stuff are more mature, they're not just doing sex. It's deep and really REALLY well written. I'm worried that mine's moving too fast, I don't think it really is. But we'll see with this part. Soooo yeah. In short, when it comes to these bands it's alright. But for anyone else I can just see how it's such shit and some people SHOULD be shot for writing the way they do. Little 14 year old girls writing about gay male sex? Please. But I know how it works, way more than I should... :uhoh: :laugh4: oh shit said too much there! omg I'm rambling and procrastinating finishing this part cuz I got to a part I'm kind of nervous about :laugh4: sooooooooooooooo yeah I'm done. Red, omg, you definately should try writing something! What I say is just pick a "character"(s) you want to focus on and just let it flow. I really have things planned out now (well, kind of, different things keep popping up but it's still going the way I planned after the first couple parts).
