All good Things come to an End........ When the dogs are whistling a new Tune Looking At the new Moon (I think Its that)(That's hard, it kinda sounds like Rocking, doesn't it) Hoping it would come soon so that they could When the Dogs are whistling a new Tune Looking At the new Moon (I think Its that) Hoping it would come soon So that it could die Die...Die..Die.. Flames to Dust, lovers to friends, why do all good things come to an end Flames to Dust, lovers to friends, why do all good things come to an end When the dogs were barking at the new moon, whistleing a new tune, hopeing it will come soon. and the sun was wondering if it should stay away for a day til teh feeling went away and the sky was falling and the clouds were dropping and the rainfall, got down (or out) to bring salvation and the dogs were barking at a new moon whisteling a tune hoping it would come soon so that they could die

  9. From ChartAttack Chris Martin Let Loose From New Nelly Furtado Album Wednesday May 10, 2006 @ 07:30 PM By: ChartAttack.com Staff Nelly Furtado Coldplay singer Chris Martin won't be lending his vocals to Nelly Furtado's forthcoming album after all. Martin, Furtado and producer Timbaland co-wrote the song "All Good Things," and Gwyneth Paltrow's husband sang on the version that was played for journalists previewing Furtado's Loose album earlier this year. "It was pretty amazing, it was one of those magical moments," Furtado said in an interview posted on ChartAttack in March. But it apparently wasn't magical enough to remain on the final version of Loose, which will arrive in stores via Universal on June 20. "They just decided that the track was better in its original form," said Universal Music Canada spokesman Tyson Parker of the reason behind removing Martin's vocals from the track. Both Parker and Furtado's manager, Chris Smith, denied reports out of Britain that Martin's contribution was removed on the orders of his record company, EMI. The Daily Star newspaper had published this from a source: "Three days ago the order came through to remove it from her album. I don't know if Chris knows yet, but when he finds out he'll be furious. It seems EMI have a problem rather than either of the artists." Smith said that the reaction to Furtado's "Promiscuous" single and video has been excellent. She recently finished shooting a video for "Maneater," the first European single from the album. "No Hay Igual" has also been released as a single to cater to the club crowd. "This is a pretty significant start for us," Smith said of the excitement building around Loose, which should increase when Furtado performs on Saturday Night Live on May 20. She's expected to launch a North American tour in July. —Steve McLean

  11. Now confirmed by Coldplaying News ;) Australia Preview] Coldplay Down Under | X&Y Tour Edition DVD Posted on: May 15, 2006 - 06:49 PM by busybeeburns Sydney, AU (EMI MUSIC AUSTRALIA) - 'The Hardest Part' is the fourth single to be taken from 'X&Y' and will be released on June 17th along with a special tour edition version of the album. A hilarious new video has been filmed to accompany the single release and is best described in the words of the director Mary Wigmore below... "The actual Spencer and Barbara performance was filmed in Miami on the daytime talk show 'Attitudes' in 1990. I first encountered the footage a few years back. My friend Maya, who is a comedian, showed it to me because she couldn't believe her eyes and wanted to share the wealth. Needless to say, I was floored by what I saw. After watching it many times, I realised it would be an excellent core element for a music video. Chris Martin had seen a documentary and two short films I made over the last couple years so when I mentioned the idea, he was enthusiastic and asked for a treatment. Coldplay got right into the idea from the beginning and when we actually shot, they were pitch perfect - balancing the deadpan humour and sweetness I so much wanted for the video. I liked the potential to open up new meanings through the disjunctive relationship of the found footage and the song, "The Hardest Part"... and how in the end, the archival footage, the song and Coldplay's performance fit together in surprising ways. Although the concept of integrating the band into the 'Attitudes' footage was very simple, its execution was actually very complex. We matched the set, lighting, wardrobe and camera moves to emulate the late 80's daytime TV aesthetic. But the Mill, a London based special effects company, was the essential element that seamlessly connected the two worlds and made my idea come to life." 16. From Billboard article about Nelly Furtado Ready To Dance On New Album May 08, 2006, 3:15 PM ET Though she wrote and recorded material with Track & Field (which co-produced her 2000 debut "Whoa, Nelly!" and 2003's "Folklore"), Nellee Hooper, Pharrell Williams and Rick Nowels, Furtado made the bulk of "Loose" in Miami with producer Timbaland, with whom she worked on the hit 2001 remake of Missy Elliott's "Get Ur Freak On." Nowels produced "In God's Hands," which Furtado says is "as far as I was willing to go in terms of pop right now," while Lester Mendez helmed the English and Spanish versions of "Te Busque," a duet with Latin pop superstar Juanes. Unfortunately, label politics have prevented Furtado from sampling Coldplay frontman Chris Martin's vocals on the closing track, "All Good Things," which he co-wrote. How sad ! :( :( :(
  17. I bought on Saturday ! It's definitely out and it's CopyControlled :( I think it's a live version of HYSTW2, btw
  18. i can confirm it's out ! I bought it on Saturday ! :) It's CopyControlled :( and Paul, I'm very angry, too... they had the 2 Japanise bonus tracks and the 2nd version of HYSTW... this live version is so bad :( btw, I think it's a live version of HYSTW2
  19. Did anyone go to a record shop this morning ? If the single releasedate is on Monday, it should be out in most of the countries listed... But Emi German Site has no sign of a THP single... and it's very strange cos the site is always updated ! Sure this is gonna happen so soon ?
  20. From ContactMusic MOGWAI SLAM COLDPLAY AND BLUNT Scottish rock band MOGWAI have launched a scathing attack on Brit award winners JAMES BLUNT and COLDPLAY - because they attended the London music ceremony in person. Despite his vitriol for Blunt and Coldplay frontman CHRIS MARTIN, Mogwai guitarist BARRY BURNS praised teen newcomers ARCTIC MONKEYS for prioritising a gig in the south of England over the Brits last Wednesday (15FEB06). Burns says, "The Brits. First off let us say a big well done to the Arctic Monkeys for not turning up to the Brit awards and instead playing a gig in Portsmouth. Why would you go? I think you have to pay to go anyway, which is a joke. "And the KAISER CHIEFS won best 'rock act' which is just mental. They're not a rock band. I met one of them in Japan and he was lovely, if a little scared by my over-affable-drunkenness but they're no rock band. "Coldplay's Chris Martin hinted he may avoid the limelight. 'People are fed up with us and so are we,' he said. No s**t, f**kface." Burns saved his most cutting remarks for Blunt, saying, "I have spewed blood down dirty toilets with more talent than him. T**t."
  21. Just because she says she had sex with Guy (I don't really care if it's true or not... it's up to him), this doesn't really mean she's a prostitute ! :o
  22. From Rolling Stone Nelly Furtado Brings the Punk-Hop Canadian singer conjures more pop hybrid sounds on "Loose" After a year and a half spent writing new songs, traveling the world to collaborate with Pharrell Williams, Coldplay's Chris Martin and producer Nellee Hooper (No Doubt, Madonna), Nelly Furtado is finally ready to release her third album, Loose, on May 23rd. "It was a very indulgent experience," says the eclectic Canadian pop singer. "It was actually the most idyllic sort of album-making ever. It's sort of every artist's dream, where you're flown around the world, just kind of having a good time and making music." In August, when it came time to lay down the tracks, Furtado turned to hip-hop talent Timbaland, who featured her on Missy Elliott's "Get UR Freak On" remix in 2001. When Interscope President Jimmy Iovine played Furtado some of the producer's latest tracks, her reaction was "Wow! It sound[ed] like he's listening to all the same stuff as me -- everything from System of a Down to Bloc Party and Death From Above 1979, and a lot of Coldplay, too." Within no time, says Furtado, "I was in Miami and having the time of my life." Working in the evenings, the pair laid down ten of Loose's thirteen tracks, forging a new genre from their shared influences. "We call it 'punk-hop,'" she says of most of the album's sound. "We were thinking, 'Let's do modern Eurythmics -- You're Dave and I'm Annie. Let's make this modern, poppy, spooky music.' And we achieved that on some of the tracks." The track "Maneaters," Furtado says, is "a 'couture pop' song, where it's in your face and very fashionable, stylistic and of-the-moment," while "No Hay Igual" takes its cues from reggaeton. "I didn't know what reggaeton was until I went to Miami and Pharrell's like, 'You're crazy!'" she confesses. "He played me a reggaeton song, and then I was like, 'Holy shit, it's great!'" She was inspired to write "No Hay Igual," in Spanish, nearly on the spot. The album closer "All Good Things," which features Chris Martin, was actually a last-minute addition, after Furtado bumped into her old friend during August's MTV Movie Awards. "I was telling him what I was up to, and he's like, 'I love Timbaland. Can I come by?'" she recalls. "But [Tim's] like a big dude, and Chris was scared to sit down at the keyboard. I'm like, 'Chris, sit down. Let's make some music.' I'm always the instigator." It was, in part, these spontaneous creative decisions that led Furtado to name the album Loose. "I left in all the sour notes; I left in all the giggling," she says. "It's good times."
  23. next year ? the 4th album is supposed to be released this year ! :o
