  1. So, I was arguing with my friend for a few hours over IM and then this thought came to my head. She was mad about how I always kinda say somethings, like "you should pluck your eyebrows" (she really needed too...) or "Noel said you could never get a boyfriend". She said it really hurt her and I had like... no heart or something and I didn't care about the way people felt when I said that. But, it's just her that completely overreacts, and comments like that shouldn't friggin' piss you off. Here it is: It's kinda wrong to think less of a person just because they did something stupid or the act or a certain way or because they did something while angry. You can't do that unless you try to understand why they did what they did or their reasons for acting that way. Once you do you'll probably change your opinion after thinking things through. When people say something "mean" about you or believe someone is stupid or something it's just a quick conclusion they've come to after thinking about the little that they saw or heard about someone, but when they would think things through they'd probably say something different. So, when people poke fun at you, they don't know you as well as you do, so you should take it really lightly, because they don't know the whole truth and decided to just say something. You know what's good or what's bad about you and if they're right, you can just say "I know," and if they're wrong you can explain to them why you think so. Sometimes it turns out that they know a bit more about you than you think and what they're saying actually makes sense. You just didn't realize it because of something. That's when you should really take someone elses advice and try to change. If someone told me I could never score a boyfriend I'd be kinda mad, but I shouldn't get too mad cuz 1.) they... probably don't know me that well 2.) boyfriends aren't like... neccessary If someone told me I had an ugly double chin, I'd be kinda upset but not too mad because, even if it was true because 1.) it has nothing to do with who I am as a person whatsoever, it's just an appearance 2.) they probably don't mean that much harm anyway

If I ever study, this is how it goes down... don't get advice from me though--I'm just in my second year of high school, haha. For textbooks, I read whatever questions are at the end of the chapter or section first, then I glance at all the section and paragraph headings, look for bolded stuff, and then I read/speed read it, depending on how much crap I have to do. And if I'm feeling really... scholarly, I'll write/type key things down or make an outline of the reading... RARELY do I ever study, haha. I'm a really bad student, but right now I'm getting straight A's except for literature which is a flat out B. Usually just doing the homework in the class is enough for me ... and then the questions on the test just seem to be common sense...
  4. Ah, House. :) The more crap going on the better, haha. "I get bored writing the same signature..." Bad, bad excuse. :laugh3:
  5. ^you think we don't know about that already?
  6. Dude, they have to freedom to do whatever they want. If they wanna spread the word about fair trade etc, let them! Whether you relate it to the music or not is your choice. Just because they're in bands 'n stuff doesn't mean they can't promote good causes.
  7. ^I think some parts are up on YouTube. :P FYI again, HL is gonna be on Jay Leno tonight. :)

  15. Got it last week. LG Chocolate (VX8500)
  16. Uh... I've already made a video cover of this but I decided to make an audio one with an electric guitar part and singing part. :/ My voice is kinda grating but who cares, haha. h**p://download.yousendit.com/80FBBA0D1AD1FB5C
  17. :laugh3: Well, they're actually a lot alike when you think about it! :nice: Both are musically talented, both are quite witty, both act, haha, and both are a little self-depreciating. I've noticed that Hugh and Chris put themselves down a lot. :( And, Hugh Laurie's dream job is being a lead singer in a rock band. :laugh3: Of course, only I would ever notice this :laugh3:.
  18. Yeah yeah I've mentioned it everywhere but, I've never made a topic about it! haha. I'm also obsessed with both so.... yeah... Sorry I'm bored. Chris looks like Hugh Laurie if you aged him a little, haha. k i'm done.
  19. Kay--all I used to do this dp cover is my acoustic guitar (my really crappy one not to mention). I used it for the bass, drum, acoustic, electric, and an extra part I added in there. Haha, it sounds kinda weird, but I guess it's worth a listen. http://download.yousendit.com/1158DEB30E696823
