I think this is an excellent idea. A place to bitch and moan about all life's harsh cruelties. Here's mine for the day: My best friend Jason whom I work with put in his notice last Tuesday, and tomorrow (Thursday) was going to be his last day, because he's starting a new job. The job I'm at currently is my first one, and he was my first shift partner, and pretty much my most constant one for the last 13 months. I have an intense history with this guy. We used to be closer but drama and complications got in the way (and his girlfriend), so we're not as close anymore... But still, I have an indescribable bond to him. Today I talked to my manager and he told me that Jason wouldn't be in tomorrow, and I haven't really stopped crying since then. I saw him yesterday after our shift and said bye like normal, but I didn't know it would actually be the real "goodbye". So now I'm feeling sorry for myself, that Jason didn't call me to tell me himself, that probably nobody understands what this feels like, etc..... Life sucks sometimes, yeah? Go for it.

wow. we are all just a lucky bunch aren't we?? :D If only stupid Coldplay hadn't delayed their tour, I would've gotten to see my two favorite bands within 3 weeks of each other. THAT would've been amazing.

oh.. and I'M SEEING RADIOHEAD AUGUST 1 AT LOLLAPALOOZA!!! got my single day pass today. OMG.

I put way too much store into play count. I don't know why I care so much, because I don't care how many times I listen to a song if it's good, and it's not like someone comes by at the end of each week and checks up on my playcounts. My highest count Radiohead song is Subterranean Homesick Alien with 55. Highest Coldplay is... Surprisingly, Violet Hill with 38. I don't even have the whole album up there yet. :lol:
