So yeah I'm trying to get myself to Lollapalooza to see Radiohead on August 1, but I don't want to spend $190 for a three day pass... a.) I'm not that interested and b.) I have other obligations. And seriously, guys? If I don't see Radiohead, I'm dead.

I know but it's taking fucking FOREVER. I've been at 1:10 for seriously 2 1/2 years.

SO I CAN'T VOTE.

I love Coldplay because of a personal history, and I love their songs. But Radiohead makes such excellent music. They made The Bends, then went even further with OK Computer and Kid A. Coldplay are still stuck on The Bends. But I love them equally.

I joined At Ease because I kept talking about Radiohead in my livejournal and none of my friends care so I needed a place where people cared.. When I introduced myself, I didn't know whether or not to mention I was a Coldplay fan... I decided to let it come about organically. Maybe I need to do a thorough search of the forum before I create threads. OOPS.

Radiohead fans are allowed to be over here and be all awesome and proclaim their fondness for them, but at AT EASE Coldplay gets beaten to the ground?? why can't we all just get along. I love Radiohead and Coldplay equally. okay sometimes i love radiohead way way more... but everybody over here is so friendly EDIT: whoops I spelled "allowed" like "aloud" whoa this ONE drink is messing with me.

I'm just starting this now for when it comes out. I'll get mine later than a lot of other people.. I think it'd be cool to post pictures of us and our shiny new albums. Or this will be gone so fast and it won't even matter. EDIT: K, one of the new ideas is to take a picture of your album in different (preferably cool) locations.

yes I AM the girl who tried to do the shirts. I was actually thinking about it today and how I could've probably pulled it off now that I'm older and am more familiar with concepts such as paypal, etc... *sigh* i wish. Also I wish I hadn't become so disconnected with this board, but things happen and people change. Ah well.

so I watched the Coldplay Live DVD for the first time in over a year last night. I think, even though I hadn't watched it for so long, I can still pretty much recite every word from the tour documentary. anyway, it was good to watch again. and I miss jonny. I want another live dvd.

well come on. when you're in a band, you have to be cohesive, and if you're going to have a "look" going with your new album, you have to keep that up. I'm sorry to say, but those jackets are going to be around for a while.. Until next album of course. I, personally, think they're awesome, and much cooler than their boring all black and white adidas look from the last album.. Way to find color, Coldplay.

nah I remember that too, and remember thinking how awful it was that they wouldn't be using the piano, because for me, that IS Coldplay. The piano band. Then Violet Hill was released and there was piano and so I guess I forgot.

Leaking the album that comes out in a couple weeks is like losing your virginity 3 days before your wedding.

I've been listening to Non-stop Radiohead. Somehow I feel like that'll keep my mind off Coldplay. But, they're not entirely different are they.

I'm resisting--not dying though. I don't know. I said it on another thread-- I've waited 3 years for this album.. I can stand a couple more weeks.

I, of course am still waiting. I'm not finding it too difficult. What is really getting to me is waiting for the tour. I've bought my ticket for 8 July. I'm SO excited. I think the itunes commercial is what pushed me to get it. So, I'm waiting for that, and also trying to find a way to buy a single day pass for Lollapalooza to see fuckin' radiohead. And in the meantime, I'm listening to two songs; Violet Hill (which I downloaded for free), and Viva la Vida (which I've been looping on Youtube). Fun fun.

haha stay with us! (the few of us left, at least..) I'm sure it'll be sooo worth it.

I've got mine pre-ordered on Amazon, so it'd almost seem like a waste.
