I just stumbled upon this thread... And my thoughts are that Homosexuality isn't wrong at all. I'm in theater at school, so about 80% of my friends are gay. Not only that, but I'm going to school next year to be a youth director at a church. hypocritical, you might say? People who think that because people are perverse they're subhuman are the ones who ought to reevaluate themselves. If Jesus did ONE thing that made him stick out, it was his care and compassion for others, no matter what they were, no matter their orientation. Doesn't the bible also teach to love thy neighbor as thyself?? so do the 10 commandments apply to EVERYONE, or just straight christians? We're living in a world today that is increasingly becoming more full of hate and anguish, and to stop two people from loving eachother, just because they're the same gender, is wrong and selfish. Just because of some stupid ideal that people have. You can't believe EVERYTHING the bible says. I certainly don't. I believe it's right to accept people as human beings and treat them as such. treat them with love and compassion as Jesus would've done. Do not judge, do not mock, do not torment, do not point and look disgusted because they think differently. Humans are equal, some are just more fortunate than others. Sin is Sin and you can't get rid of it or hide from it. So we might as well face it. but if we live a good life with good intentions and follow in Jesus' footsteps, you don't have to worry. I'm sick and tired of conservative elitists controlling the world and telling people how to act, what to believe, and who to love. Let's put an end to it.
