this all seems like it's winding down. yay! I'm never coming back to this thread, because no matter how much people argue, it never gets anywhere, even when they're acting hypocritical and not bothering to have an open mind. very sadly, America is like this in so many ways.

um, ok, except you just said earlier that you didn't know God's purpose for you..

siiigh.... the purpose of 'faith' is that we have no evidence. the purpose of 'believing' is that we have no proof. where is there proof that God exists? I don't deny it in any way. I've believed in God my whole life with my whole heart. But there is no tangible evidence, so you can't go to someone and say that their beliefs are wrong because 'look, I have evidence', because there is none. religion is so much more beautiful when you have only faith to live on.

hey guess what, NOBODY knows why we're here. it's an age-old mystery. But if there's one thing I think I know about God, it's that he wouldn't want us to sit and talk about what's wrong in his opinion, because we don't know. I'm sure he'd love all his children to be out loving every minute of life, precious as it is, with friends by our sides. And I'm sure God wouldn't want people to be condeming others and questioning their morals, because it's not for us to judge others. The only one who CAN do that is God.

if you're not without sin then your not going to heaven, no matter how much good you do. good deeds dont save people. well then do bad deeds condemn people? even if they are a firm believer in God? take, for example, Adolf Hitler. He was a devout Christian, yet look what he did. What does that mean? We are not judged by what we don't do. We're judged by our acts of humanity, in my humble opinion.

i know what god wants from what he's said..he has made it clear being gay is a sin....so its god's view on the issue. its a fact, he said and made it clear as crystal. he left no room for doubts on this subject. just because your not hurting anyone doesnt make it moral. i know plenty of homosexuals im friends with a few... well then if you're smart, tell us, why are we here? what is God's purpose for us? sexual orientation IS NOT A CHOICE. we do not CHOOSE the gender we're attracted to. I happen to know this for a fact, because most of my friends are gay. and btw, the bible says a lot of things. do you believe them all?
