If you have the mp3 of the acoustic version of Violet Hill where Chris talks at the beginning he mistakenly plays the chords off Lit II. Since at concerts Lit and Violet Hill are played in succession and they are both played on the same acoustic guitar then one can assume that Lit/LitII/Violet Hill are all the same tuning.

OK! Now I know this is an EXTREMELY LONG shot but here goes anyways. I've been part of this forum now for nearly 4 years. I know I haven't been the most actively involved or most active poster. Having said that I visit this place pretty much everyday and I love to keep upto date. The thing that has impressed me the most and is the reason why I'm writing this right now, is the community spirit which exists here. This has been evident in various projects such as the CCC and the Postcards From Far Away project. Taking this into consideration and also taking into consideration how warmly received the covers I've made were and still are (thank you!) I decided why not for the hell of it see if I can with the aid of everyone involved in this community fulfill a dream and play on stage with Coldplay. I'd be aiming for Monday 14th of September when Coldplay play here in Dublin. I'm not really sure how to actually go about this which is why I'm turning to you people for help as I genuinely believe it could be possible! I'll post some covers here underneath this so that you can hopefully get a flavour and it might inspire you to become involved! Haha! We don't have fortunately! We do have a talent show called "You're A Star" they used to send the winners in for the Eurovision song contest but they've since stopped that I think. I've got too much talent for those shows! :D Oh and thanks to everybody for the nice comments I appreciate it :)

haha thank you! you're dead right about the confidence thing with the singing. I have quite a deep talking voice so I guess its not as easy to try the falsetto as it might seem.
