whyyyyyyyyyyy??? Don't get me wrong it's great to hear Coldplay live and I'm sure I'll enjoy Viva La Vida live. But I REALLY wanted to hear Violet Hill live.

I'm not really sure they can just merge tracks like that although I could be wrong. My guess is that depending on where you live in the world you'll get a different song. It wouldn't be the first time this happened. I think to the best of my knowledge there was an extra song on the European version of U2's HTDAA which wasn't on the US version? Similarly with HYSTW only appearing on the Japanese version of X&Y. Just my thoughts anyways..

To be honest I know it's just a friendly gesture to ask them to change but it's not going to do a lot. They've already said they aren't making this album to please people and also that if people don't like the name then tough shit because this is what it's called.
