  1. well rap artists music is just played over the speakers, acoustics are going to be different with live instruments
  2. that didn't sound very good
  3. i mainly only play acoustic i have an old spanish style guitar an acoustic electric and my baby a taylor acoustic guitar (taylor guitars are great, martin's are good, but i love the taylor sound, but that is just my opinion) and i just recently bought a strat from my friend and a cheap amp, but i really don't know much about electrics so i need to get that setup
  4. i like playing amsterdam on acoustic i play it like this verse D A E G i play the G (i don't know what itwould be called) like this 3x0032 and that is EADgbe then chorus E G D A i usually play those barred. it sounds okay. there may be a more accurate version transcribed for guitar somewhere else...probably is
  5. the setlist was standard. i don't remember the order exactly, but off xy they played square one, fix you, talk, low, till kingdom come, speed of sound, the hardest part and white shadows closed the main set. encore was standard. swallowed, in my place (chris came out into the crowd into the back of the pavillion and sang to the law seats) and fix you as the closer a couple of the lyrics were changed before everything's not lost chris said that sometimes it is best to be far away and just listening to them instead of up close and looking at them. he changed the lyrics to "i wish we looked more like the backstreet boys...and a little less like coldplay" and in fix you the last bit was changed to "...we'd really like to thank...you for letting us play on your river bank...and now i'ts time for us to go...thank you cincinnati ohio." or something to that effect
  6. in cincinnati we went up to the guy selling shirts and said "you must be pissed man this stuff is so exspensive no one is buying it" to which he replied "we're selling some stuff" but there was only like one three people in line. so i don't know how well the shirts are selling on this tour
  7. well i saw them in cincinnati last night and it was a great show. now my three favorite bands are smashing pumpkins, pearl jam and radiohead. when i saw radiohead they played 24 songs, each time i've seen the pumpkins 24 songs and pearl jam play 28-40 on any given night depending on what kind of mood they are in. of course these bands have a ton of albums at this point in their careers ( god rest the pumpkins...unless crazy billy corgan brings them back) anyway i enjoyed the show, but i do think since they are playing larger venues that a 20 song setlists would be pretty solid, they have enough good material for that. then again it may be like someone mentioned before that his voice can't take it, but they do need to throw at least one b-side in there, a little see you soon or something for the fans. overall i really enjoyed the show last night though. and does chris always come out into the audience on in my place or was that just in cincinnati, it was pretty cool
