I think having changes in a song a few times usually makes it sound good, I agree... like when a group has a song that sounds like it has 3 or 4 different melodies that's usually a good song. The dave matthews band does that well :smug:

exactly I think the most important thing for music is to sound different from cookie cutter music and still sound complete in some way. Everything has to have a strong harmony and fit together. That doesn't neccessarily mean good lyrics or even lyrics or even a singer. However a rhyme like "I like macaroni and cheese, it makes me wheeze" might ruin a song.
