I agree with you. A lot of people like to consider themselves half religious too. They do whatever they want to in life, but then somehow they decide to call themselves jewish or christian or whatever... I think that's worse than a marriage ceremony. Marriage does constitute a legal bond to someone which really can mean something whether or not someone is religious. But ... it's weird the types of people who call themselves religious for the sake of having a dogma.

for a lot of people it's just tradition. But some people do still believe in the sanctity of it.
