Thanks. I'm not sure what you mean by only post official videos though. Can by your view, we cannot post our own recordings? 'Cause we've been doing that before, like with Amazing Day. Also the illegal links and anything official thing; I've always found it a necessary rule. But I don't understand how when users make an 'edit' to a song (which can be very minor at times) that suddenly makes the song different and we can freely share it. Its a bit of a confusing rule to me as to what we can and cannot share. Thanks Mackplay for the input, but i'd like an official mod/admin stance on this

Yeah, I remember listening to the first snippet of Paradise when it came on online, and when the whole thing was released it was like a completely different song!

They aren't sure. They probably just read what all the fansites are saying and then 'confirmed' it, when they really shouldn't have. But I guess they also did it to generate more clicks for their website.

I keep seeing this, but I think they just see what us and other fansites have posted, and took it as a 'confirmation' which it isn't. I'm not saying theyre wrong, but they don't know any more than us. Not sure either, but it was confirmed by a girl who said Chris showed the song to her (and her friends) a while ago at an event.

It's always very flattering to hear ppl value my opinion, thanks! You have been on this forum since '06 it says, so you must know how we go through this cycle every era. Rumours of 'the last album', 'the band are breaking up', 'Chris is going solo'. Fast forward 3 and now this 4th era and I still don't see them breaking up. I guess Chris did technically say they don't wanna be rockstars at too old an age, but I still think they all have a lot to give and an audience more than eager to listen. At most, I do see something in the form of a hiatus because they never really had one since MX. MX which was a big production, GS which was probably very taxing emotionally (for Chris esp.) and this LP7 which is likely to be a big production as well. To answer your question, I give you this picture:

Usually at this stage I would say 'don't hold your breath' because once the whole thing is released there will be some hate somewhere. But for the first time in a long time, I haven't heard a single negative thing about a coldplay release. And who knows how much you can really tell with a 8 second snippet, but my observation still holds true and its just good to see everyone get along after such a long division.

Knew there was gonna be something today. But I had a farewell party (at work) which kept me busy all day. Drove an hour home as fast as I could and finally heard the snippet. I've not yet stopped hitting repeat. Send help, hype too much. As a slight tangent, the psychedelic version of the supposed album art is growing on me. Still prefer number one, but its definitely a grower.

Well, the others are more comfortable with Jo whom there interacted with numerous time before. What makes Chris different is that he can seemingly act like that with total strangers. Doesn't make the others bad ppl, but I just wish they found a way to be more prominent in interviews.
