  11. ---------Turkish Lessons------- Türkiye ve İsviçre kardeştir : Turkey and Switzerland are brothers. Yurtta sulh, cihanda sulh : Peace at home, peace in the world (Atatürk-former of Turkish Republic) :D
  12. coldplay9027, i agree :) he is wonderful really
  13. ^^ i think i couldnt get what you had meant.you mean in Turkey there isnt any freedom of press, freedom of religion, or the right on life??? and also do we have death penalty for minor crimes??i hope i understood wrongly. otherwise your writings are just funny to me (so sorry but it is), nothing much.please search more about Turkey and after write your opinions, please...we couldnt punish even Abdullah Öcalan-the head of terrorists who caused abt 40.000 Turkish people's death- with death penalty!!!still he is in jail.

  16. astrojunkie, i and most of the people-almost all- in my country dont bother what others think.but i can say there didnt occur any genocide.both Turkish and Armenians were killed.and sorry but i wont continue this discussion ok? not because you're right.because i know we wont come up with a solution or a common point. *ozge*, hoşgeldin bu arada tabiki alırız neden omasın :P bu aralar biraz ortalık karışık yalnız...

  18. exactly right... prejudices, yes most of the Europeans have prejudices towards Turkey, this thread showed it clearly again...but im repeating once more: if Turkey has nothing in common with Europe .i am really really sad about Europeans then.unlike your knowledge and thoughts of Turkey, we are the most hospitable nation in the world or one of the most.believe it or not... by the way i think its nonsense to discuss that Swiss players did that English players/spectators did that,Turkish spectators/players did that, etc. because this kind of things always occur in every country.this wednesday was one of them.we were wrong and we will definetely be punished thats all.to carry this event to the politics is nonsense also...
  19. first of all it was a very bad night not only we were eliminated but also we and swiss players-both- failed in humanity.things had started in Switzerland and unfortunately we continued it although we didnt have to do like that.you all agree with that Turkey and Switzerland(or some of swiss players) must be punished.i agree with you too.but that punishments like "Turkey should be banned from 2008 or 2010..etc" are too heavy.i strongly believe that we wont take a punishment like that.maybe they can give a "4 or 5 matches not to be played in our home.and a big money punishment and 5-10 match-punishments for some players both from Turkey and Switzerland" also i guess all of you heard the director/chairman (idk which one is true) of FIFA.he asserted ,WITHOUT any reports from observers, referees, etc, that Turkey will be punished and Turkey violated fair-play,etc. that statement was very very interesting as well as wrong.he can say these words if he was a spectator but he CANNOT blame Turkey without any reports. and lastly you say that "Turkey has nothing in common with Europe" .i am really really sad about Europeans then!!! one more thing we all know that we cannot generalize a nation by looking at their "some hundreds of" spectators... waiting for your thoughts... (i will write as soon as possible if you state your opinions)
