hellooo, I'm back!!! Thanks to everyone who greeted me: Judy, Marek, Mike, Daryl and Val!!! :kiss: :kiss: Judy, I haven't been in London for 3 weeks...that would be too much time,I think. :) I'm gonna tell you my journey and my impressions of all the places that I've been! I'll post some pictures, as well! ;) I went to Paris by train - in fact I spent the night there. It was hard to sleep partly 'cos I was pretty excited but it didn't matter. I looked forward for that trip several weeks. I was in Paris 3 nights but what I liked the most was the pyramid of the Du Louvre museum at night - I just saw it in the Da Vinci Code film and it was one of the places that I really wanted to go. Paris is such a beautiful city that reminded me Barcelona in some aspects, specially the Champs Elysees (they're like les Rambles). Also I liked Montmartre, 'cos it had a great view of the city and good atmosphere. At the end of my trip we came back to Paris 'cos we were really sad for leaving this city, although I was looking forward to go to London! I went to London by ferry and I stayed 6 nights. It was my dream to visit it... 'cos I idealized it and I wanted to know if what I thought was real or only my imagination. First days weren't too good 'cos of the weather. It was so damn cold that I always had to wear the jacket... it seemed as if it were winter and I didn't like this feeling, 'cos it was actually summer and it was raining all the time! :( Anyway, a few days later fortunately it changed for good. First word I could say of what I thought of London was Chaos. Loads of people everywhere, too much in my opinion. I felt lost - that was my impression in the beginning - 'cos afterwards, I got used to. Trafalgar Sq (and also the Leicester one) were the places that I liked the most, specially the first one. Another thing that all of you know... great music. I went to some music stores like the Virgin one and it was fantastic. Lots of wallpapers, new albums, Coldplay stuff that I hadn't seen anywhere else before and moreover, if you went downstairs, you were able to play instruments such as drums, piano, guitars and so on while listening to yourself in the earphones. I took advantage of it and I played the piano! :) Glasgow I was lodged there, close to the University of Glasgow but this city wasn't too interesting to visit. I mean it was sad...it didn't have atmosphere. Anyway, sth curious happened in the hotel where we were staying. One night - it was about 11pm and I was sleeping 'cos I was tired of all the day - sounded the fire alarm... all the people came out of the hotel wearing pyjamas (that was funny) and 2mins later the fire brigade came. Luckily, nothing really important happened, well, someone was smoking... and that was ALL!!! :laugh4: Edinburgh was the place that I liked the most and it was unexpected 'cos I was sure that I'd prefer London than the other ones. But I was wrong. Scottish people were very kind and Edinburgh couldn't be better. We wanted to go to the castle but... there were several performances in the street, like men wearing kilts playing the bagpipes (that drove me mad - the fact of seeing men wearing kilts, 'cos it was like a new concept for me. I wasn't able to look away of them :lol:), other men singing and playing the Beatles songs and this sort of stuff. I was really entertained. The atmosphere in Edinburgh was PERFECT, the weather was good - at least the days that I was, and there were nice and friendly people. I couldn't feel better! ;) Ops, sorry. I think my explanation is too long! :S

First days I was in London weren't that great 'cos of the weather... it was so damn cold :( but then, a few days later it was better. I liked LON, definitely is quite cosmopolitan and there're loads of people - it's a chaos, sometimes -. Paris was different... 'cos is more similar to Barcelona and I loved to see the pyramid of the du Louvre museum at night. It's such a beautiful city to visit.
