I like to give advices too :) 'cause I like to listen the people's stories... I really think that you can learn a lot of the other people's experiences... btw, I'd add that I think the person who is more suitable for giving these advices is this one which is not involved in the story, so he/she can have an unbiased point of view about that :lol:

This is a very interesting topic for a thread... :nice: 1) Have you ever met someone online and met in person? Yes, of course!! I met a friend of mine last year who I used to talk a lot who I know almost all of his secrets. I met other people, as well, that was a long time ago, maybe 4 or 5 years ago... I used to go to a general chat and one day we made an appointment; we dinner together and then we spent the afternoon too! It was pretty interesting!!! :lol: 2) and they acted completely different then they did online? Completely different?? nooo, although they acted a bit different, at least in the beginning 'cause of the shyness... and I'm sure I acted a bit different too, but then, after spending some time and talking to them, you loose that absurd shyness :) 3) have friend you talk to online that act different in life? Yes, one of my best uni's friend is quite different via msn than in person... she is very open - minded and used to talk a lot, but in msn she is not that cheerful! She seems to be another person there! :surprised:

For me, the melody and the lyrics are pretty important... both equally, but most of the times, what makes a good song is what I feel when I'm listening to it; if it's indifferent to me, surely it isn't a good song. Another important thing is, f.e, if I have a pleasant feeling when I'm listening to it, if it has a message between the lines and so on!

Por cierto, respeto al tema de la carrera... el primer año casi no hice laboratorios ya que lo que vimos fue de todo un poco (como tú) en general: física (mecánica, electricidad y óptica), matemáticas y química pero a nivel bastante básico. Fue como ponernos a nivel para después ver cosas más concretas. Ahora mismo no estoy trabajando en nada especial... te refieres a si me he especializado en algo? Además, quería comentarte otra cosa, no se si alli en Bogotá lo haceis igual... pero en nuestra universidad hay muchos prerequisitos; muchas veces, para poder hacer una cierta asignatura debes haber aprobado anteriormente otra, o en caso contrario no la puedes hacer. :thinking: En parte es una ventaja, ya que cuando la haces ya tienes varios conceptos claros, pero la desventaja es que si no apruebas la que debes hacer antes, te retrasa la carrera. Respeto lo que dijiste de que en general tus profesores saben mucho yo tambien tuve esta impresión con la mayoría de los míos, afortunadamente... y creo que precisamente esa es la mejor "clase" de profesor, aquél que te explica "emocionado" su materia, ya que de este modo consigue motivar al alumnado e introducirle!!! :nice: Acerca de Catalunya: tienes razón, cuando entramos en la Unión Europea nos ayudaron muchísimo los países más ricos pero ahora han entrado otros y lógicamente ya no recibimos todas aquellas ayudas, ya que nos hemos puesto a nivel. Respeto lo que dijiste de la diversidad; yo creo que es muy bueno para un país, y no debería crear diferencias... pero desafortunadamente las crea por lo que parece.
