  1. yeah, exactly! They go there 'cos they wanna relax... but if I did that, I'd be bored and I'd have too much time for thinking about my life and some stuff that Im worried about - and that'd be wrong! And it's also good they've time for theirselves (as a couple, you know!) ;) Oh, so I suppose you feel pity for her. Gail, Im gonna cook something and I'll be back soon... perhaps in half an hour!
  2. oh, yeah, in my country you're considered adult when you're 18 (or over 18). Anyway, they could force me to come with them if they wanted to... but they already know that when Im there, after a few days, I end up being low. I dont feel "comfortable" in that village, I actually dont feel good in any one. But, of course I am mature, I mean, Im not someone that would do craziness when they're away, they can trust me. ;) That's weird, but I can tell you it has been raining a lot today here, as well. But it's not normal, I suppose that today has been an exception to the usual summer days! awww, Lulu looks so cute!!
  3. haha, definitely, you've said it! ;) Oh, I see, it's also rare for me to be home alone, but since it's summer and here (in Barcelona) is so damn hot that is pretty difficult to sleep at night at times, my parents usually go to a village where we have a house. Whats more, I can choose if I wanna go with them or I prefer staying here in Barcelona, but, I get so bored when Im in that village (there's no pc, no shops, ...) that I prefer staying in the city. oh, you have a dog? I didnt know it! :) In my flat there's only my parents and me....
  4. I think they'll be back on Thursday, in the evening, so I still have the whole flat for me til then, which is amazing! I really enjoy being on my own and having the flat at my disposal!! :D I still havent had enough time for missing them! dont you take advantage of being home alone? I mean, doing different stuff... dunno.
  5. yeah, it isnt too late! I'll end up eating something, sooner or later! The thing is that Im home alone and I can do such things, otherwise my parents might have told me off...
  6. that's amazing gail!! :) Im doing well, I was about to cook something for dinner but I saw you were online and I thought I could wait a bit. You know? It's almost 1am and I havent had dinner, this is crazy! haha does that mean that you wont have to go to work?
  7. Ive just read your message on lastfm! :nice:
  8. Im so happy to talk with you again and to know that everything went well. My heart is full of joy! So glad that you've finally found true love! :nice:
  9. God, Im sorry to hear that, Daryl! I know you were looking forward to being here with your mate. What did he expect from you (and bcn) ? I mean, when you go to another place with a friend of yours, you know beforehand that you'll have to adapt to some new things. And, at times, this is the magic of journeys, finding out new stuff and adapting yourself to it. have you talked to him about that seriously? Maybe the best you could do is telling him the way you feel, that you dont feel comfortable with the way he's behaving with your friends... Hope you sort it out!
  10. Im back!! hehe, I was doing other stuff ... yeah, you definitely have a huge problem! Nah, really, you shouldnt but I can tell you I have never downloaded a 1GB file. I have only downloaded files that are about 100MB - you know, albums. I suppose you'll need ages for downloading that -- or not?
  11. Gail!!! :wings: are you here? I hope so! That would mean that at last Ive caught you online!

I do like staying up until late and I usually do it when I know that the day after I've got nothing major to do. I can't figure out WHY but I enjoy a lot doing stuff at night, especially being on the internet, when my parents are sleeping. One of the things that I love doing is watching vids on youtube, with my headphones on, of course. Maybe the darkness or the silence of the night helps me to focus on what Im doing. What's more, during the night-time I have an energy that I dont have when I wake up - by then Im spiritless. And yes, I know how it feels going to a place (Tesco in your case) where there're loads of people during the day. One Monday morning - it was about 6am - I came back home walking in some streets that are usually overcrowded but that at that time were empty. There was no-one but me, either traffic. It was a crazy feeling!
  14. yea, they're supposed to do that but you know, when you're in a group it's difficult at times to get a conclusion. It's good that you've been brave enough to tell them what the others didnt dare, though. :) oh, dont worry about that. My degree theoretically takes 4 years and I can say for sure that I'll need 5 years at least, and maybe half a year more. Ive failed some subjects as well but Im not concerned about it. Most of my mates are going through the same thing too... Im gonna go. Goodnight Ari!
  15. well, they're partly right, though. I mean, a journey to Australia would be so damn expensive. But same for a California one, I suppose. But it's still soon for knowing the place that you'll go, innit? And what's more, if you dont like the final destination, you can always wait to go to the journey of the next year. ;) Oh, Ari, dont take it that way. It was only a proposal, so it could have been accepted by the others (or not). :)
  16. oh, I know that you didnt, dont take me seriously! ;) That's exactly what I'll do - follow their recommendations! Anyway, I have a bit of fear - that fear that you feel when you have made a plan and want it to work it out fine! aww, I'd love to go to California! Would be nice to see it for real! But I can understand that you feel more interest in these other countries. Australia really seems a nice destination and it would make a big contrast as well compared to the town you're living in! :D thankyou Ari! Let's hope you're right and it'll be as good as I expect it to be!
  17. definitely! the next one likes Maxïmo Park :P
  18. yea, definitely! They're really good friends! :nice: Im not going alone over there, Im not that crazy! I mean, I could go alone to an european city like Paris, London, Berlin... but I wouldnt go to Egypt alone, and even less a woman, you know? I dont think it's too safe. theoretically the journey of the degree would be the following year 'cos I expect to finish my degree by then but I have no idea of where they want to go! nah, I'll take the plane from barcelona to aswan, then we will arrive to cairo by cruise, and then i'll spend 4 days there. I'll also be in Luxor, Edfu and some other places. It'll be pretty amusing, me thinks ;)
  19. Ari! yes, he meant Coldmike, he's spending some days in Croatia! ;) yeah, it'd be the first time I make a cruise, but it'll only last 4 days. Anyway, I'll have a slight idea of how it is! The other 4 days I'll be in Cairo.
  20. bye sweetie!! Oh, really?! Now I can tell you i am off - even though i am using the invisible mode!
  21. aww, Gaaail! I didnt recognise it. It looks so different to mine! (out of topic: I just wanted you to know that I was here, but now I gotta go, Im gonna sleep a few mins and then I'll be back to work for 3 hours! looove  )
  22. LOVELY LOVELY desktop Gail! looks like you dont use Windows! And nice player!
  23. yeah, that's true, I havent spoken to you in ages! Im doing well, these days Im working at a chemists just for earning some money in order to do a journey in August. I've already booked the hotel and cruise... hehe, I'll go to Egypt 8 days and I'll visit some stuff over there. Me thinks it'll make a big contrast compared to my city: Bcn. This week will be the last one that I'll work there, then on Friday I'll really start vacations - I cant wait! :nice: English and Swedish? That's fantastic, Miro! I think that Eng is much easier than Swedish, though... in fact I reckon it's one of the easiers languages for learning. Wish you good luck, and dont worry about the months in English, Im dead sure that you'll get used to them soon! haha Im SO GLAD to hear that everything went well! And also happy to know that Mike is alright. Hope you're having amazing days, if not the best! Enjoy them!
  24. Miro, sorry for this question, but... has everything gone well? I HOPE so. Anyway, I really need to know!! :anxious:
