oh, sorry, i missunderstood you. ok, i see what you mean now. what kind of stories do you write? out of curiosity. these days i've been thinking that it'd be nice to write a story, with chapters and everything. i'm sure i'd enjoy it and i feel enough inspired for doing such thing, so...

haha, you do that?? this is similar to what you did when you were a child, when you used to write the homework you had to do in a notebook! yes, indeed! :)

haha, i know. loads of things we say we'll do tomorrow (or even today) and then we don't! well, you could also go to a portuguese forum, f.e. it could help, i guess.

haha, i see. well, i have a serious and clear aim of studying these days. i don't mean i'll spend the entire days doing it, but at least i'll do it more than lately, so i'll feel better and i won't be worried bout it. yes, i guess it's a good way of thinking, so you'll be able to really enjoy the following days. that's a good idea, so once you are there you wont feel that lost with the language thing.
  5. well, if you don't feel like studying then do other stuff that you won't have time to do once you take lessons again. you could go out with your uni's friends f.e., or watch some films, read books, write poetry, and so on. there's so many things you can do!

well, worried 'bout my studies. i know that i must do it (i mean studying) but the matter is that i don't feel like doing it, so i usually end up doing other stuff that has nothing to do with studying, so here's the problem but i guess these days i'll have free time, and i'll probably be bored, so i may start doing it. well, i hope so. oh my, you definitely should. i'm sure that portuguese isn't that different from spanish but i don't think it's a good idea going to another country without having any idea 'bout their language. you should do an intensive course or something, really!
  7. i don't have plans either, being honest i don't expect to do anything special. i guess i'll stay at my home and i'll go out once in a while. nothing really exciting. i'll try to study 'cos these days i haven't done it and i know if i don't start studying i'll likely fail the exams.
  8. oh, so you also start vacations, don't you? mm, I think I see what you mean. Bf.
  9. Oenona replied to Joyce's topic in The Lounge
hiya! I'm doing fine, today I start vacations, so next week i won't have to go to uni. i'm feeling good though i'm a bit worried bout... well, maybe bout some nonsenses, anyway. yep, it's always a change. are you taking portuguese lessons before going there?
  10. what's wrong Ari?? *hugs*
  11. ^whoa. :stunned: I know it isn't that exciting but I can't help feeling curiosity.
  12. That's a brilliant idea! I'd do the same than you. Besides, I'd also like to know what it feels playing or watching football ('cos srly, in my opinion it's boring as hell), and going to discoteques looking for chicks, and peeing standing up :laugh4: <-- that'd be really interesting - + knowing what it feels the fact of having a OH LA LAA!

Congrats Ari!! Hope you have an amazing experience in Portugal.
  14. hopefully tomorrow everything will be solved. why am i so scared of facing things?
  15. wow, Crystal! I love it, that dress suits so well in you. Really beautiful. :nice: Are you ready for getting married and everything that means? God, I don't think I could!
  16. sorry, guys, but that's not possible :P
  17. when i was at the age of 11 / 12 i listened to backstreet boys and spice girls, i don't have any shame to admit that. Afterwards, i suppose i got tired and i listened to what was on the radio: you can imagine what...very commercial stuff. i was very influenciable. then i got very obsessed with music of my own country, so i didn't want to know anything 'bout "foreign" music. it was a silly period, i know. then, there was a new stage in which i used to say: "oh, well, i pick up the best songs of every band, so i don't miss any band" but i was wrong, 'cos i actually didn't know how they really are 'cos i was judging 'em by one or two songs. finally, i discovered coldplay - in my place was the song. i remember i liked it a lot, but i didnt' get obsessed with 'em. some months later, i heard clocks and i thought: woah, that song is good. i downloaded some of their stuff and i liked 'em. then i got obsessed: "there's no music beyond coldplay". that was the sentence that could sum up my musical world. Sad, i know. Now i feel like discovering new bands, i specially like indie music. and about your question, i'm a bit influenced by what they listen to, but if i don't like it, i don't. :laugh4:

^ haha, yep, indeed it's very addictive! mine is in my sig.
  19. True, Mo. When you fall for someone, it's mainly 'cos of the personality - but there's something more, like the physical appearance. You must feel some attraction for the other one. Wow. That's really shocking! :O I mean it's not something usual to happen - since ppl usually find out their sexual preferences when they're a teenager, it's the moment to do it. Maybe he did everything he wasn't allowed to when he was young - just guessing.
  20. Yep, it's obvious the lounge needs some deeper and more interesting topics to talk 'bout. I'm a heterosexual female and honestly, I have never had doubts 'bout it. I don't think I could feel attracted for a female, although I think I could snog some - but that would be all. I have heard there's a period that most of people are not that sure with their sexuality preferences, I reckon it's when they're 'bout 13, 14 or so, like they spend a lot of time with their best friend (who is the same gender than 'em) and sometimes... they can cross the line. Anyway, I'm not sure, maybe it's a cliche that I've heard.
  21. good night!
  22. MSN works again!!! yay, Mo!! Hope is the last thing in life you can lose!
  23. well, not all of 'em, of course, but the same happens with the relationships in real life. Not all of 'em work, it's just a fact!! cheers hun!!! So am I!! :nice:
  24. yes, exactly!! haha, I'm surprised to see you still remember! When I turned 15 my parents gave me as a gift the internet connection and in less than 2 weeks I met him, and then we used to spend loads of time speaking to each other, until there came a day in which we decided to meet in the real life. I know, it's amazing!! It's just a proof that online relationships work!! :D seems that msn doesn't work tonight! weird! :freak:
  25. Areej, hun!! I don't know why, but it doesn't work although my internet connection works properly as far as I know. Well, tomorrow I'll "celebrate" with my bf we have been 6 years together and we'll do special stuff, so I'm sure it's gonna be great! how have you been?
