  1. at least you've found something, I know it's not the same, but you've got to start somewhere... in a few days you probably find something more interesting!
  2. yeah... it can work, but I'd rather use this method if I were desperate, y'know! Well, you can't do it while living in Switzerland but once you are in Liverpool you could use all of your fatal female techniques. :wideeyed: Surely you don't have to... even if you're truly in love, there's no reason for doing this, 'cos you have to be loved by what you really are.
  3. oh, I understand but I presume it must be a bit difficult to find a job close to Liverpool from Switzerland... I guess it's hard to find a job for working in another country!
  4. haha, Sally, I know you wouldn't do that or maybe I'm wrong 'cos love can make us do silly things - and if they work.... well, if that one is too annoying, you'll have to look for another one :sneaky: However, I think it's better not to use this method!
  5. lol. We thought the same! here it's over 11pm, so you go 1h ahead of us! Have nice dreams Lana, and talk to you soon! byebye!
  6. thanks for your wishes, really! :nice: Hope you find a job soon! How do you wanna do it? I mean do you wanna find a job near to the village where you're currently living just to earn some money and afterwards going to Liverpool and find a job there? I'm sure it'll be nice for you to meet with that friend you mentioned... you'll have so many things to talk about, so many news!
  7. Only Sally knows... :whip:
  8. Perhaps 'cos you want to make the person you really love jealous.. :P naah, just kidding.
  9. thank you girls!!  for you! I'll try to do my best... maybe I didn't get the mark I expected 'cos I've been quite busy these days and I havent had too much time for studying, but when I've had free time I also wanted to do other things besides studying. Anyway, next week I'll finish a lab practices that I'm currently doing so everything will be better! How're you both? :)
  10. @Lana, Sally: Yeah, I can repeat it, we've 2 other chances, so in total we have 3 chances and then they make the average of them (besides the final exam, which is the most important). These 3 exams we do in the middle of the "course" are for raising our mark (up to 2 points in our final exam!) Thanks for your interest! :nice: I feel a bit better now!
  11. Oh, Sally! I failed an exam I did last Monday and I'm a bit sad 'cos I expected to pass it... maybe it's not that important, although it is for me, 'cos I have an important purpose for my future, so I need to pass this subject. Anyway, failing that exam doesn't mean to fail the subject as well, 'cos it was one exam that ppl theoretically did for raising their marks. :worried:
  12. why did I miss that chance?
  13. Even though I haven't had the chance to know you well, I believe that Josh is right in all that he has said, I'm sure you're a lovely person who you can talk with when you need it. I wish you have nice days...take advantage of them! Good luck!
  14. oh, poor you! I've heard it's quite difficult and that is really necessary to do a preparation course for these exams... 'cos they have their own style and it's good to be well-prepared! Anyway, I suppose it depends on the person.
  15. Yeah, it's quite hot... even at night, we've warm temperatures. We still wear short-sleeved clothes 'cos otherwise, we'd sweat so much! :laugh4: Did you find tough that exam?
  16. She is preparing us for getting the First Certificate, as well, and she is one of the youngest teachers I've ever had (Im not refering only to English ones, but to all the teachers of any subject). Yeah. Even Daryl (you know who he is, right?) told me he is missing rain, 'cos he is currently living here and y'know, here it usually doesn't rain. Out of curiosity - what Cambridge exam did you do?
  17. wow!!! what an odd teacher. I can't imagine myself going out with her and all my classmates to get drunk, honestly, though it'd be great (even though she is nice with us, f.e. she gave chocolates to us the day she turned 30!). She also give us an advice about Manchester: it's the place from UK where rains the most.
  18. Thank you so much all the pictures you posted! I looked for pictures of them on google, but I haven't found pics as clear and interesting as you did! This one is gonna give me a heart attack!!!! :dead: :dead: OH MY.... So damn wonderful!
  19. Nige, things are going good although I'm pretty busy these days doing a laboratory practices and English lessons with a teacher who is from Manchester - but being honest I like what I'm doing! haha, it's obvious that I'm catching your post count... you haven't been here for a long time and I used to be here quite often, so it's easier for me to overtake you! :P Anyway, I'm not here that much as I used to.
  20. what's wrong Gal? :uhoh:
  21. are you refering to Mike? did you make a videocall?? WOW! :stunned: I didn't know it! byebye Nico!
  22. yeah, i know is with Woody and Scarlett! I didn't know if Id watch it last Saturday or the next week. Sounds you had fun!:)
  23. Nico: I watched Children of men on Saturday and I went to the cinema expecting to see a great film, 'cos of the good reviews it has had but actually I didn't like it. It's that kind of films that you read its synopsis and you think: "wow, surely it'll be perfect and interesting" but when u go and watch it, you realize it's not that good, for the main reason there're loads of things they miss to explain, they give them to understand and... 'cos it doesn't make sense! How was your weekend? I haven't seen Scoop! tell me more about it!
  24. @sally: I know, I know... in Liverpool, f.e.!
  25. La catala? haha, Nico! Hola Italian! :P Sally! Long time no talk  Are you fine?
