  1. It would be nice to perform at the nice new stadium we have here for everyone.... not just a few select people! The whole southeast has been left out of this tour! :disappointed:
  2. Driving down from Orlando... staying over at Marriott Courtyard. Section 118 Row H...looking down on the floor at next to stage... see ya all there! Having dinner around 5:30 at Channelside (1 block over from Forum) TinaTapas... is very good! with a pitcher of Sangria! Then it will be Party Time! :)
  3. Thanks LFDianne for the info ... yes, I will be walking then to HB. Glad you are coming to Tampa show Too! I can't wait til Tues! They didn't have the xylobands at Lolla last yr when I saw them... so this will be really cool ... well, all the pics look awesome! Thanks! :)
  4. I am getting excited! I always wanted to go to Hollywood Bowl and museum. It will be a Coldplay party with the wristbands, confetti and balloons! Yeah, I can't wait... flying in from Orlando. I am sitting in superseat section H. Staying in Best Western down the road... I hope it is walkable from hotel. I am renting car, but heard parking is pretty bad, so it is better to walk? Wearing the Coldplaying.com shirt so maybe I will see someone from here. See you Tuesday! :vuvuzela:
  5. OK, so I just think of my favorite dessert.... "My Gelato" if I cannot remember proper title! which rhymes with "Mr. Roboto" and "Winning the Lotto"... OK, stop! :) I like the MOO thing! on the cover.
  6. Yeah!!!! I'm pumped up too! I work at Disney World everyday and I can't wait to get out of this town!!! Spending time with some REAL people and REAL music!!! Hey! Anyone staying the whole weekend? Sunday night one block over from Grant Park and my hotel is Buddy Guy's Legends (700 Wabash) Blues Club in Chicago and Sunday night is his 75th Birthday Bash! Only $10 cover! And you will get to see a 5 time Grammy winner... one of the best Blue guitarist around. You know he's got to be there for his own birthday celebration. I am going to this after the festival. Restaurant menu til midnight. http://www.buddyguy.com/
  7. I don't know how long it will take me to check in at hotel... hope I can do early check in. Anyway, shall I look for a bunch of blue shirts up front. I hope I can get through crowd to you guys. Is anyone making any banners? OK, here's the weather report http://www.weather.com/weather/tenday/USIL0225 Looks like you will need a sheet of plastic or tablecloth waterproof kind and a plastic poncho. I think I read that handheld umbrellas are OK.
  8. It looks exactly like 66 shirt . It was pretty much like cafepress...just upload your image... only I used another font that looks similar to the Coldplay font. I don't remember the font name since I made it when the running man image first came on here. But it looks exactly like 66 shirt. :) Except, I redesigned it... I cut the sleeves for sleevless and neck for raw edge look... hahah! It's gonna be hot there!
  9. I used zazzle for my shirt since cafepress didn't have my size in the baby blue color. I made it and received email next day it was ready to ship and then received the shirt in 2 days mail. http://www.zazzle.com/
  10. Yeah!!! Got the wristband and lanyard today!!! Finally! See ya'll there and will be headed for the front after I check in at hotel. This will be a great time and looking forward to hanging with the Coldplayers! :)
  11. This is so disgusting!!! She will be out in time to party this weekend. I live in Orlando and I hope I NEVER see this horrible person anywhere. Oh, and this was just announced by Prosecuting Attorney, Jeff Ashton....he is retiring! He has adopted two small children and this must have really affected him personally.
  12. What!!!!! My shirt is already in the mail.... well, I can just use black marker or black spray paint and make graffiti over the Lolla part. Crap, I am not spending another $30.
  13. Yes, I am interested in ordering a shirt... I PM'd you... thanks! :) I think the black lettering shows up better than the white lettering though.
  14. Yeah, Twisted Logic was never played on Twisted Logic Tour
  15. Hahah! Ode To Deodorant! Yesssss! One I Love Amsterdam Daylight
  16. Also when we made the Wembley shirts, we could not use Coldplay only Coldplaying.com same with Muse shirts, could only use website name not band name. ;) If I remember right we used Spreadshirt or Cafepress.
  17. I love the shirt... yes, yellow is good color... it worked really well at Wembley...we could find each other no problem.
  18. So sorry, the list was on the first page on Muse's board for Lolla... so I will show here. Is posted by Agenthal: Lollapalooza 2011 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Are you a fest n00b? That's ok, Haley has done this many times. Many, MANY times. So, let me try to prevent you from making silly choices while you are on your Muser travels. AGENTHAL'S ADVICE COLUMN Don't be stupid, bring a backpack or at least some sort of bag. Bring in two SEALED water bottles, they have refill stations for free water (lines get long though!). Other things for your pack: - Sunscreen - no aerosal cans! There are plastic spray-on ones, but I recommend getting cream that's like SPF 80+ and just applying it once in the morning and you're good all day. I always do this and only my scalp burned last year. Hence the next one on this last... - Hat - Sunglasses - Towel, blanket, something to sit on (no chairs, but Crazy Creeks are fine); this will get really gross, last year I just brought hotel ones with me each day - Baby wipes - Roll of toilet paper (trust me on these last two) - Cash along with a credit card - Mini fans are handy, like what they have at Disney world - SNEAKERS. You're an idiot for wearing flip flops. At least do Tevas are something. - Poncho. It could rain, did last year. - Digital camera (not an SLR; you may be able to get it in but it depends if it's worth it for you) - Also, GOLD BOND. If you ever go to a hot festival, especially Bonnaroo, that is the number 1 thing people will recommend if asked. Chafing, chafing, chafing... IS NO FUN. Unless you are super skinny, if it gets hot, you will wish you had it. You can't bring in food, but this is the benefit of a backpack. I am always able to easily sneak in crackers and granola bars and such to last me a day at the barrier. There's food in there of course, but it's expensive and you don't always have the time (or aren't nearby)! Keep in mind, Grant Park is HUGE. If you're planning on running to the barrier, keep in mind it's far from the gate. Will be like a 15 minute walk. You won't be able to queue at the gate to get in early in the morning, they won't let you. Gates open at 10am I believe, though. You'll hear the Star Wars music. Can't think of much else to say. It's a blast and I usually try to catch as many acts as possible. There's also lots of cool stuff around, like the hammock areas and the Playstation tent (they usually have free stuff like mats, sunglasses, and I won sidestage passes from them next year!). Feel free to PM me with questions. "Please don't PM me... airieslady" This information came from Agenthal on Muse board. Thanks Agenthal!
  19. I think I am wearing my yellow Wembley Coldplaying shirt... you can pick that one out right away. Plus at Wembley we were able to find each other easily with that yellow shirt! :) And I am WAY OVER 30 also! ;) And if we all find each other up front... it will be easier for us solo people to do bathroom breaks and food. I am bringing Crazy Creek cushion chair and towel to claim my space for the day. Someone on the first page had excellent list of what to bring items.
  20. Oh, those are some awesome pics! The close up one, you can see the writings... oh, and those butterflies, I am so glad they kept the butterflies! :) I am excited to see them in August. Thank you!
  21. The barrier is the front of the stage.... Coldplay on the Bud Stage
  22. Well, I was.... but I got scared about the haunting stuff, so I changed to Hilton down the street.... much much more money! But will sleep at night! Heehee! Am flying in early on Friday and hoping big time to check in early.... must get to the barrier!
  23. Yes, just head for the barrier! You will find the Coldplayers hanging out there! :)
  24. OK, I have been bummed out all week since I found out about Muse vs. Coldplay. At first I thought I would want to see Muse one more time.... but gave headache to me about this. I have decided I really want to hear new music of Coldplay and share the festival with fellow Coldplayers! :) I feel much better, now I have truly decided to just have fun with Coldplay's craziness. I fly in early morning and hope to checkin at hotel across from park early if possible and try to get up to barrier and campout for this day only... only for Coldplay of course! I bought one of those Crazy Creek cushion chairs just for this!!! And will claim my space as close as possible... hoping to find the other Coldplayers up front!!?!! Yes, I feel happy now that I got Muse out of my head (I saw them 3 times last yr.) Anyone else headed for the barrier?
  25. Well ain't this some real mess here!!!! I guess the promoters don't really care that they would put the Grammy Winning Brits Bands against each other. They would have sold more "one day passes" for two nights instead of this. How stupid are they? Or at least have one play before the other... Muse opened for U2 alot so they would have done it, they don't care about stuff like that... even after their own tour was done, they still did opening for U2 this year... really, I just can't believe the scheduling! What depressing week... first the Glasto movie cancelled, now this!!! :( I will see Muse ... the last time for a long time. I will wait to see Coldplay on their upcoming tour. I have a word to describe my disappointment! Lollacrappola!!!!
