4. Albie leaves... The legendary coldplaying.com user leaves... and also returns but that wasn't memorable, so let's stick to "leave". 17th of January will stay as one one of the most memorable days of this board, no doubts. Everything started with some honest words from Albie. Everyone was shocked and no-one knew what was happening, excluding the best and the only one male moderator of coldplaying.com - Ren who sweetly edited Alberto's posts. However, Albie was happy and quite probably drunk (Albie mood: :laugh3: ). He tried to strike back with some offensive insults, but it didn't work. The mod power is unbeatable. IT'S INDEED UNBEATABLE: THE SECOND BIGGEST LEAK IN THE HISTORY OF THIS BOARD!!! THE THIRD BIGGEST LEAK IN THE HISTORY OF THIS BOARD!!! Albie was shocked and angry (Albie mood: :angry:). He couldn't forgive it Ren. So he left. Till yet, it's unclear how did Ren get those photos (the 1st one might come from GWB's personal documents, the 2nd one from FBI's X-files). Sadly, it looks like the US government caught Ren some months ago (Ren's Last Activity: 11-09-2006 05:36 PM)... On 8th of April someone cracked Albie's account and posted under his name. Of course no-one believed in those lies... His 2nd comeback (that was the REAL ALBIE!) was on 24th of June. He even created his typical threads and tried to bring back the ol' days... but unfortunately it didn't work... He hasn't made any posts in the last 4 and a half months...although he still visits the board (Albie's Last Activity: 15-12-2006 05:53 AM) :shy:

5. The Lounge controversy This must be the most discussed topic of the whole year. I better do not start to count how much hatred got this section during the last 11.5 months. Here are some signs that there's been something wrong with The Lounge for ages: January February March April May June July August September October November December Yes, sadly, there's been a plenty of sadness, boredom, emptiness and stupidity in The Lounge. However, there are still some people who believe "everything's not lost". Let me present the almighty army of "Loungers Of Loyalty (aka LOL)" who haven't given up yet *applauds*: Member #1 Member #2 There's been a rumour spreading on coldplaying (wasn't confirmed yet), those 2 might be in a close relationship... Family or not, no-one knows...

^ yeap, the story isn't original (after all it's a remake), but it blew me away. one of best screenplays of the last years i'd say just watched it for the 2nd time in a week hahaha and i still could enjoy it. great movie

7. Reilly visits the Coldplay section First of all, why it happened? That's why: this and this and this and this and.......ahhh ENOUGH! Ian like many other members got sick of that (threads above). He asked Reilly to "help" him. Reilly obviously did! If Reilly expresses opinions about Coldplay, that's never good for Coldplay fans. It's probably even worse for them, when Miceal speaks directly to the certain Coldplay fans. No worries, it doesn't happen too often. But when it happens, it's always memorable. Some people tried to make a parody of Reilly, but they quickly got laughed out loud (very loud) for their poor copy quality. 2 days later, Coldplay fans got really really angry so they struck back... ehmmm in their own way... Was funny

8. Ian vs. Nettie This should have been higher probably. The battle of the century! Two most popular and beloved coldplayers against each other!! Jesus! To be honest, i don't know too much about this issue, so i won't go deeper. 10. New Board It's always good to "re-start" a countdown with something positive. :nice: We moved. Yes, we did. Was in February i guess. Site owners and admins changed the phpbb board to the vBulletin board. There are advantages and disadvantages of this move, but obviously there are more advantages. We moaned a lot about this change. A FUCKING LOT (i can't prove that, everything's on the "temp board"). We were terrible, really... True, we lost ArnIe and we lost bling (the last one temporarily according to Stephen). But we now have a much faster board + MediaPlayer jigga jigga :o, + we can change our "status" + everything else. New board, new inventions!!! WE LOOOOOVE THAT! IaNVENTOR :)

11. mc_squared vs. Cristiano Ronaldo Everyone knows Mark. Everyone knows what he likes e.g. a football club called Charlton Athletic, an English music band Keane and Ricky Gervais, the famous British comedian. And everyone knows whom he hates... Mark hates Cristiano Ronaldo with passion ! ^^^ Mark, this is impressive, I have to say!! But the problem is... Cristiano Ronaldo doesn't hate Mark. He simply doesn't know of Mark's existance. Ronaldo doesn't know that there's a guy who hates him with passion, loves Charlton Athletic, listens to Keane and watches Ricky Gervais...

12. The Coldplaying.com Big Brother Contest HA! read on HA! The idea of this was brilliant, though it didn't really work, did it? I have random feelings about this, could have been better, worse, more interactive, more boring... don't know. But it definitely deserves it's place in this countdown!
