yeah that's the thing with general degrees. Quite often to make a good career from them you need to become an academic. It sucks! They shouldn't be encouraging people to go to uni. It's just a waste of 4 or 5 years and gets you into a hell of a lot of debt!

Yeah, you just have to be careful what you choose to study. Architecture would be good because you're actually training to do a job. You know what I mean? For example, a degree in History or Maths is too general unless you know exactly what you want to do and get some good work experience.

It does a bit. But it's not like unbearable or anything. You know where REALLY REALLY stinks? Alcatraz in San Francisco! Jesus Christ! I thought I was going to throw up! :lol:

My cousin is going to be doing architecture. Thought about it myself! You'll enjoy that!! :smiley: My degree was just too general. I need to do something more specific and get some good qualifications to actually do something!

I think THP initially got a bad reception in the US so that kind of put them off it. It's not a bad song. But it's not their best work either. THere's nothing really special about it apart from the "I could feel it go down..." bit. Maybe they just thought they'd throw it out and see how it did. You never know. They could get a No.1 out of it and then we'd be eating our hats! lol
