One second.............just one second affects the earth's rotation . Very weird but I found it quite interesting thats why I posted it.

Er Im trying to understand that too. But according to what I'm reading, it says that special kinds of clocks can show that to us.

Leap Second for 2005 There will be an extra second added to 2005 to keep our clocks accurate to the slowdown in the earth's rotation. The extra second is added one second before midnight on December 31. The last extra second was added in 1998.
