Definitely not 5/6 I'd say... Perhaps a three.. It's really hard to say. You can learn some really difficult pieces and still not have the right knowledge, you've just learnt something basically by heart. http://abrsm.org/?page=exams/gradedMusicExams/latestSyllabuses.html On this page you can find the syllabuses for all the grades and perhaps get a slightly better understanding as to where you're at. YUou can also try going to your library and search for pianobooks that are graded. Good Luck :)

The chords are always the same, no matter what instrument you're playing on. You just have to learn how to finger them :) (And also, if the guitar is played with a capo, you have to transpose it to play along with the record)

Karma police! I'm dying to find the sheet music for the albumversion!

I'm only self taught, and I thought about taking lessons but decided aginst it, for the time being.. The material I play, that is on a good loevel for me is grade four.. However I don't think I'd pass the test since I'm not practising scales and such very much ^^

It's not to do with notes, it's tones which is differnt. If I'm not mistaken when you press one key in the piano-voice for example, you actually play more than one tone.. Because otherwise it would be a very flat, uninteresting sound which would sound nothing like a piano... I'm not 100 on this, though so don't quote me ^^

I think the best way is to probably listen to a lot, a lot of music to get a feel for how songs are built! And read some music theory to learn about keys and cadences and stuff.. But then again, you might not need this at all, just play what sounds good!
