  1. Anyway, for the end of my story: We made our way down 5th avenue and looked in some store where we could never actually afford to buy anything there, and took an extremely crowded subway down to 42nd street, where we had dinner. Then after dinner, we walked up through Times Square and poked around in those touristy stores until it was time for the play, which was amazing! After the play the actress we came to see (Melora Hardin) actually had a little Q & A session, which was great, and we didn't even know it was going to happen! Then after that we waited outside the stage door for her to come out and I got to meet her! This is her on The Office, btw:
  2. Well thank you! :D Haha... the full album is actually on my facebook now so there are even more bird pictures you can show your bf! :P
  3. Umm.... well she is a lot taller than me (but then again, who isn't?) and we both have kind of curly hair I guess and we're wearing similar coats? Here's a better picture of the two of us:
  4. We continued our wandering up to Central Park, and went to the zoo! This bird almost flew into my head!
  5. No, too expensive! :( But we watched people falling down for a while! :P
  6. While we were there, we also wandered around a few stores and went downtown to Chelsea Market for lunch. We also went to the New York Public Library (it's huge!!!) and to Bryant Park where we saw another big Christmas tree!
  7. Okay, back, and ready for part 2! :P We headed up to Rockefeller Center so I could relive my epic Coldplay Today Show experience! In the right of the picture is where the boys were at the Today Show! :D And here's the Christmas tree and the ice skating rink!
  8. She's 3 years old, and she really is entertaining! :D Okay, so yesterday: my friend and I decided that we wanted to see the play Chicago on Broadway because one of the actresses from our favorite TV show, The Office, was in it (Melora Hardin, who plays Jan on the show). So obviously we don't have a ton of money to spend on Broadway tickets (they are SO expensive!) so we decided to get rush tickets, which is when you go to the box office before it opens on the day of the show you want to see, wait in line until the box office opens, and then when it finally opens, they give cheap tickets to the first 25 people in line. We had to get in to the city early though, so we took a train at 7 AM with all the commuters, and we had to stand the whole way because there were no seats. :( It was worth it though, because we got there an hour and a half before the box office opened, and we were very close to the front of the line, and we got 3rd row seats for $30! So after we got our tickets it was 10 AM, and the show was not until 8 PM. So clearly we had a lot of time to kill. First, we were really tired from getting up super early, so we found a Starbucks in Times Square, and got our caffeine fix. :wacky: Jeez, this is shaping up to be quite a story! I didn't realize I wrote so much! Okay more coming in a second, I promise! :P
  9. Not bad... I slept in quite a bit and I have a babysitting job later, which I'm excited for, because the little girl I'm watching is adorable and lots of fun. :) Okay, just a couple more minutes, and I will post the complete story of yesterday! :P
  10. A lot of things! :P I'm uploading some pictures too, so stay tuned for the full version of the story! :D Me too! :P
  11. Hellloooo? Anyone home? :P I am exhausted, I spent (my friend and I counted) 17 hours wandering around New York City yesterday and I didn't get home until 2:30 in the morning!:\ It was tons of fun, but now I don't want to get out of bed today!
  12. What's a night that a lot of people don't go out or have much to do? Maybe a weeknight, if we could find a time that would work across a few time zones.
  13. *so does another who thinks this thread has gotten horribly off-topic :P*

  25. Still 2 more weeks of being a bum for me! Actually, I have quite a few errands to do today... I have to drop off my skis to get them sharpened/waxed, my ski boots to get them stretched, go to the bank (drive-thru is open on Sunday! Woo!), and get my car washed. Sorry if I'm not around a ton today... I think I actually have to be social tonight! :P
