  1. I personally think they should play every song they have ever written, recorded, or released in any capacity. Hahahaha. That would be the best concert ever. I wouldn't mind being there for like 12 hours to hear it all!

Actually, I think it was the "Twisted Logic" tour- or at least, the US leg was. Either way, they didn't play Twisted Logic!!!! Or X & Y, which is, after all, the title of the album.

yesyesyesyesyesyesyesyesyesyes they MUST play See You Soon!!!!
  4. Exactlyyyyyyyy. I don't even know where my seats are, but I am counting down the days until July 3rd (Hartford WOOOOOOOO)!!!!!!
  5. Yeah, when people find out how much I love Coldplay (well, they never really know the full extent, do they?) they always ask me if I was upset when I heard Chris married Gwyneth. I don't know how to explain this to them, but I feel like Chris Martin is way more than that. He's like, CHRIS MARTIN!!! It's not like I want to date him, I just want him to keep making music forever and ever. Hahaha, did that make any sense? Anyway, I am really excited for this Daily Show appearance. Does anyone know if its possible/difficult to get tickets? (I live in NY) Either way, I will be watching!
  6. Me too (sort of). I joined way back in 2005 and have been creepily reading the sight regularly ever since. :D But now I'm posting more in the heat of all this new album frenzy!!! This is a fun place to talk to people who are as ridiculously in love with Coldplay as I am (which I didn't realize was possible before, hahaha).
  7. Hahaha, I have the same problem at standing shows since I'm so short! I try and use it to my advantage though... like people will feel bad for being in front of me since I'm so little, so they let me go in front of them since it's not like I'm going to block their view anyway. I try and repeat that all the way until I get to the front row. Hahaha :D
  8. Let me point out that I agree that standing is better than having ticketed seats (which by the way, no one sits in anyway). But I just have to say, I find it impossible to complain about seeing Coldplay at all. Me + Coldplay in the same room = pure happiness. There are no downsides to that.
  9. Hahahaha.... I guess we can expect something like that on their next tour in 2013!
  10. I think you Europeans are spoiled for having standing shows in the past ...... lol. I would love seeing Coldplay standing, sitting, or lying on the ground.
  11. I guess it's different for you guys "across the pond" :-) but here in the US every time I've seen Coldplay (3 separate occasions) the venues were all seated. However, it's not like anyone actually sat down at all, and the atmosphere in the room was still completely amazing. Coldplay are particularly good at making a large arena feel as intimate as a small venue, so whether there are seats or standing room, all the boys really want is for you to have a good time. This isn't to say I dislike shows that are standing room only, because they do have their advantages. But seriously, seeing Coldplay live at all completely surpasses any of that. I would much rather see Coldplay from a seat a million rows back than not at all.

I am REALLY hoping for Shiver. That's one I've always wanted to hear live, but haven't had a chance to yet.
  13. This thread is too funny- I LOVE how creepy everyone is being (obviously I approve). I wish I could go to London with everyone and track down Coldplay. That would probably be the sweetest thing ever. It's funny that I found this thread today, because last night I had a dream that I was in London and I was wandering around the part where the Bakery is and I ran into someone from the boards here and we decided to search for Coldplay together. I woke up before we found them though :-(. Maybe tonight! Hahahaha.
  14. I have a subscription... I will let you know as soon as I get it (I also have a scanner, so I will do what I can about that) :-)
  15. What a pain! You have to be 21 to enter the Amazon.com sweepstakes/ giveaway thing! You only had to be 18 for the coldplay.com one. I wanted to enter in hopes of winning the second prize (signed album and t-shirt) since I live in NY and therefore obviously do not need to be flown to the MSG show.
  16. I'll be there... I forget the number of the section, but it's the one on the side right next to the stage (like in the lower part of the upper level). I am so excited!!!! Coldplay are really great about making even a big arena feel intimate and personal. This will be my 4th time seeing them! I cannot wait!!!!!
  17. I'm having mixed emotions about this puzzle thing.... on the one hand I want to see the whole picture, but on the other hand, the more people who sign up, the worse my chances are! hahahha. Hopefully everyone on here will be able to go! (and I wouldn't be surprised if they added a regular NY show). Here's hoping for Jones Beach! Hahahaha.
  18. I saw them at the Beacon, MSG, and Nassau (as per my signature). Good story about the Beacon- I snuck in! Since I didn't have seats I blended in with people in the aisles on the floor and crept my way right up to the stage! Easily the best night of my life. :-D How did you get such good seats for MSG and Nassau? I had floor seats for MSG but they were like 15 rows back and at Nassau I had pretty close seats, like the second section up right to the side of the stage. But at MSG I was only a couple of rows in front of the sound booth and when Chris ran back there during In My Place he stood on the booth and I almost died. Anyway. I love Coldplay. And thanks Melanieau again!!!! You're my hero!
  19. just thought i'd let you guys know, I just got my email (I have gmail) I guess it took about 15 or 20 minutes.
  20. miniature torture? More like the worst torture anyone has ever had to go through, ever! Maybe I am being a little overdramatic, but this is Coldplay we're talking about!!
  21. I've seen them 3 times as well- where did you see them? Oh and p.s. everyone- I just tried to load the site (just for kicks) on my friend's Dell laptop using Internet Explorer and it worked! I think the web browser might be the key (as both of the computers I tried on before were using firefox).
  22. Melanieau signed me up because she is amazing. :-) But still no email (and I have gmail). But i will let you guys know if/when it works. Lets keep our fingers crossed!!! Oh, and how many of us live on LI and would probably all be on the same train into the city together come June 23rd? We should meet up on the train and have a Coldplay-freaking out- losing control of our bodily functions- party. :-D
  23. Maybe later in the day less people will be trying to access the site and they'll fix it? Let's hope! I wonder if they'll add another MSG date with regular paid-for tickets.
