It wasn't worth it to keep calling on and being 3 or 4 callers too early and then hearing someone win who says something like, "Oh, cool. I like Coldplay a little bit." UGHHHHHH. I hate people. I think you should have to answer Coldplay trivia questions to get in to the show. Or know a secret Coldplay password.

Not fake names, the names of his friends whose email addresses actually won the tickets. But it's easier to say "fake names." :laugh3:

Yup, it seems like everything's been straightened out. So excited!!!! I'm not to sure what happened either, something about deleting the fake names and sending in our names maybe? Whatever. I think we'll be able to get in and that's all that matters to me! :D

I think he's everyone's hero (myself included). :D In terms of cameras, I've never had a problem getting one in (hide it in my purse) but often if you have it out during a show and security guard will come up to you and make you stop. Still, nothing to lose by trying to bring it in. I have some great pictures from the Nassau Coliseum show on the last tour!

On the circuit city website it says they will have an "LP Version" for $15.99. Does anyone know what that is, or is it just the same as the vinyl edition they released in Europe?

I just got home and downloaded the album right away (12:30 AM EST-ish)! I'm so excited to have my first official listen-through. And I'm buying a hard copy tomorrow. I may be a poor college student, but Coldplay is one thing I will gladly spend excess money on.

this thread is crazyy with the amount of posting going on, but i love that we are hearing the same thing at the same time. i feel like it brings us closer together as coldplay fan. :D

Good idea! I actually checked a little while ago and I only saw a couple of listings, so the flagging must be pretty effective. Hopefully they won't be so hard on those of us who were given tickets by those who had extra or couldn't go themselves and are "real fans"! :\

Still not sure if I should go... I'm not sure my parents would love the idea of me taking the train in and then hanging out alone in the very early hours of the morning in Rockefeller Center... :rolleyes:

Yeah, it seems strange that everyone's tickets are pretty far back. I wonder who got the floor seats and the closer 100/200 level seats.

This thread is making me a little bit sad because I am allergic to milk and therefore can't eat ice cream (I know... it's horrible). Because all this ice cream looks SO DELICIOUS. However, they make some soy-based ice cream that's actually pretty good (or GREAT). So this is how I must compensate for my lack of delicious dairy products: not bad for a substitute, i guess.

I remember MSG saying that last time around too. They generally make you empty your pockets, and if you bring a bag they check that too. However, if you hide a camera in a less obvious side pocket of a bag, they probably won't care enough to check there and won't find it. I was able to bring in a camera that way without a problem.

I'm sure they'll arrive on time. On the website where you enter, the contest closes on the 19th. So they seem confident that they'll be able to get them out to people that late before the show. Also, it's possible that they will send the all the tickets out at once after their contest ends on the 19th. If you don't get them soon, I'm sure they will come at least a day or two before the show!

That happened to me TWICE! Once they were looking for caller 20, and I was 17. The next time they were looking for 25, and I was 21. Very frustrating.

This is such a great idea! Unfortunately I won't have mine until the 17th... but I will be sure to take it to various local landmarks and document those occasions.... like at the BEACH! :D

This thread makes me laugh. But my vote's for the bunny outfit. OR... a tux with a pair of bunny ears? Perfect. Seriously, just wear clothes that are comfortable and lightweight because if you're anything like me you'll be jumping around uncontrollably and therefore probably sweating as well! :P

Haha, glad it's working out for you! The date changes might help me as well actually, because before I wasn't able to go to the Philadelphia show, but now I might! Although, I can't go to Toronto now, and I was planning to in October. So I guess it evened out for me.

No more Toronto for me. :( Oh well! At least I have Hartford!
